Today's organizations are looking for ways to improve the organizational commitment and performance of employees in order to have a qualified workforce and maintain sustainability. Organizational leaders' approach to increasing employee motivation positively affects their organizational commitment and job performance. This research, basically focusing on the health sector, tried to specify the effect of the managers’ ethical approach on employees’ organizational commitments, performances, and the role of organizational commitments in this effect. The sampling was composed of 362 healthcare professionals. In this cross-sectional field study, an independent variable model for the ethical leadership approaches and a dependent variable model for the employees’ performance and commitment to their organizations were practiced. Data was collected through Ethical leadership, Organizational Commitment, and Individual Performance Scales. The data collected were analyzed through SPSS and AMOS package programs. A correlation analysis to specify the relationships between the variables and a regression analysis was done to specify the interaction. In specifying the intermediary role of organizational commitment, Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used. The results of the analyses showed positive significant relationships between ethical leadership approaches and organizational commitment and employees’ performance. It was also observed that ethical leadership approaches had a positive and meaningful effect on affective, continuous and normative commitment, the sub-dimensions of organizational commitment, as well as the employees’ performance. On other important finding is employees’ attendance and normative commitment are highly affected by ethical leadership approaches. As a result, it was specified that ethical leadership approaches by the managers are highly effective on employees’ performance and their commitment. It was also noted that organizational commitment played a mediator role on ethical leadership approaches. These findings were seen to be amicable with findings in previous studies. It is expected that this research will contribute to the literature because it is a holistic model including the relationships between variables.
Sağlık kuruluşları, sağlık hizmetinden yararlanan müşterilerin ihtiyaç, beklenti ve isteklerini karşılama, sunulan sağlık hizmetlerinin kalitesini arttırma, bunların yanında maliyetleri azaltma ve sürdürülebilirliği sağlama amaçlarına yönelik bir yönetim felsefesinin arayışına girmiştir. Kişilerin yaşam kalitesini etkileyen, hata kabul etmeyen, doğrudan insan hayatıyla ilgili olan sağlık hizmetlerinde bu yönetim felsefesini sağlamanın temel koşulunun; kurumların kurumsal performanslarını iyileştirme yönünde çaba sarf etmesi, müşterilerin ihtiyaç, istek ve beklentilerine uygun olarak kaliteli ürün ve hizmet üretimiyle olabileceği kanısına varılmıştır. Bu yoldan hareketle kalite yönetim sistemi hem sağlık kurumlarının hem de ulusal sağlık politikalarının bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı sağlık kurumlarında kalite yönetim sistemi alanında yaşanan gelişmeleri kısaca tanıtmak ve yakın gelecekte sağlık kurumlarında hangi ölçüde yer alabileceği sorusuna cevap verebilmektir. Bu çalışma sağlık kurumlarında kalite yönetim sistemine yönelik yaklaşımların değerlendirilmesi ve yorumlanmasını içeren bir literatür taraması çalışmasıdır. Yöntem: Bu çalışmada, taranan ve kapsam dâhiline alınan makalelerden elde edilen ikincil verilerden faydalanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak ise nitel araştırmalarda doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 15.02.2018-30.03.2018 tarihleri arasında Ebsco Host, Science Direct, Google Akademik, Emeraldinsight, Dergipark Akademik arama motorları kullanılarak 2010-2017 yılları arasında sağlık hizmetlerinde kalite yönetim sistemi ve sağlık kurumlarında kalite alt konularında yayımlanan ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel makaleler taranmıştır. Taranan makalelerden sağlık hizmetlerinde yapılmış bir araştırma olup olmamasına göre bir elemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Belirlenen veri tabanlarında taranan anahtar kelimeler sonucunda toplamda 159.522 makaleye ulaşılmıştır ve bunların içinden istenilen kriterlere uygunluk gösteren 48 adet makale değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Bulgular: 2010-2017 yılları arasında incelenen 48 makalenin 41'inin ulusal literatüre ve 7'sinin uluslararası literatüre ait olduğu görülmüştür. En fazla makale (11 makale) 2017 yılında yayımlanmıştır ve bunlardan 9'u ulusal makaledir. Sonuç: Kalite yönetim sisteminin sağlık kurumlarında uygulanmasıyla, hizmet kalitesinde, personel ve hasta memnuniyetinde artışa, kaynakların etkin ve sağlık harcamalarının daha verimli kullanılmasına yardımcı olacağı ön görülmektedir. Çalışmaların sonucunda, uygulanmak istenen bu sistemin, sağlık alanında hedeflenen yaklaşımlara katkı sağlayacağı açısından değerli sonuçlar sunmaktadır.
Change management practices are one of the most common methods used by health organizations today. By this method, while organizations adapting to the technological change, they can also find the most appropriate service potential under competitive conditions. At the same time, employees’ commitment to work is ensured by increasing the employee motivation and performance, and in turn, the productivity in organizations is increased. In today's technological conditions, organizations should make change management practices and quality standards competitive in order to ensure their corporate sustainability. In this study, change management practices in a private health institution and their impacts on different organizations were investigated. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that change management practices are an effective variable on productivity, employee motivation, organizational commitment, technology and competitive conditions.
In this study, a field research was conducted to determine the effect of visionary leadership on organizational agility. The data of the analysis were obtained from the health care workers working in private hospitals in the Bakirkoy region by the survey method and 200 questionnaires were analyzed statistically. To achieve the results, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed. In the conclusion part, it is confirmed that there is a parallel and meaningful relationship between the visionary leader's behavior and organizational agility.
While some segments of society may want to be promoted and informed about products and services, some segments argue that most of the advertising activities can negatively affect human health due to poor control. Considering that the advertisements will mislead individuals and affect the health of the society in a positive way, the existence of advertising bans is considered an accurate decision to protect public health. Due to its advertising structure, it turns healthcare into a commercial commodity and sells healthcare. This situation disrupts the social structure of the health service and makes the service a subject of competition between institutions and individuals. It is seen that obstacles are put in this regard and serious sanctions are imposed. Health personnel also have important duties to prevent health from being a commercial good and to provide a respected health environment.
