Introducción: La necesidad de comunicación en lengua extranjera de la sociedad actual se manifiesta en las políticas educativas que promueven una enseñanza plurilingüe. Este estudio se realizó con el propósito de indagar en la formación en lengua extranjera de los futuros docentes. Metodología: Se diseñó un cuestionario con preguntas sociodemográficas y relacionadas con el aprendizaje de una lengua y se aplicaron unas pruebas de nivel de Cambridge. La muestra de estudio está formada por 427 estudiantes del Grado en Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Málaga durante el curso 2018/2019. El análisis de los datos se realizó con el paquete estadístico SPSS (v. 22). Resultados: Se ha constatado que un 48,01 % de los informantes cursan estudios de idiomas al margen de la universidad, un 86,48 % no ha realizado ningún curso o estancia en el extranjero, un 99,06 % tiene acreditado algún nivel de inglés y la segunda lengua extranjera para la mayoría es el francés. En cuanto a la relación de estas variables con la puntuación obtenida en las pruebas de comprensión oral y escrita, en todos los casos son significativas. Discusión: Existe una divergencia entre el nivel alcanzado en las pruebas y el nivel acreditado y exigido como requisito mínimo por las administraciones públicas. Conclusiones: Estos hallazgos son de gran relevancia para conocer la formación lingüística de un colectivo que juega un papel esencial en la enseñanza bilingüe y para establecer líneas de actuación futuras con objeto de promover la mejora de la competencia en lengua extranjera.
En el presente trabajo se ha pretendido llevar al aula del Grado en Educación Primaria una práctica docente basada en la técnica mindfulness para fomentar el hábito lector y la creación de textos literarios. Se ha utilizado esta técnica de origen budista porque centra nuestra mente en los sentimientos, las sensaciones y la naturaleza de las cosas. La posibilidad que esta práctica ofrece de mirar en nuestro interior estimula la creatividad, imprescindible en todo proceso creador. También se han considerado las inteligencias múltiples de Gardner que dan una visión clara de las diferentes habilidades que cada individuo posee y utiliza tanto en la resolución de problemas como en la creación.Esta experiencia se ha llevado a cabo en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Málaga durante el curso académico 2017/18. Han participado en el taller 20 alumnos de 4º curso del Grado en Educación Primaria; de edades comprendidas entre los 21 y los 45 años (Media: 24;35; D.E. 6;799). Los hombres representan el 55% de la muestra y las mujeres; el 45%.Este taller de fomento de la lectura y escritura creativa supone una estrategia dinámica que posibilita la implementación de actividades lúdico-didácticas con las que el alumnado pueda divertirse aprendiendo y permanezca motivado. Las valoraciones manifestadas por los participantes a través de un instrumento de autoinforme fueron muy positivas.
La Formación Profesional para el Empleo (FPE) consiste en las acciones formativas llevadas a cabo por la Junta de Andalucía para capacitar a personas desempleadas para desempeñar una labor determinada en el mercado laboral. La educación reglada ha asumido la importancia de la lectura en la formación de niños y adolescentes promoviendo el rincón de la lectura en Educación Infantil y Primaria, así como el uso de la biblioteca en Secundaria, como parte natural de la educación. Sin embargo, la FPE no contempla la lectura literaria como un aspecto fundamental para la formación de profesionales. Asimismo, tampoco es habitual la utilización de adaptaciones literarias al cine como recurso para el fomento de la lectura. A pesar de que esta metodología permite diseñar acciones formativas dinámicas, motivadoras y que responden a las expectativas de los estudiantes. En el presente trabajo se expone un procedimiento implementado en el aula de inglés con objeto de promover la lectura a través del cine en el alumnado del curso de FPE.
