A proliferação de escândalos com agentes políticos denunciados em práticas de corrupção tem abalado de forma intensa a democracia brasileira. Atores de todo o espectro ideológico têm se visto envolvidos com denúncias. Uma indagação premente é: essas práticas são capazes de produzir assimetrias, alterando a taxa de sucesso das proposições de autoria ou de relatoria dos implicados? A aplicação de regressão logística aos dados de proposições de autoria de envolvidos nos escândalos do Mensalão e da Operação Lava Jato permite concluir que a taxa de chance de transformação em norma, para esse conjunto, é 57,90% maior que para os demais casos. Também são apresentadas conclusões sobre a diferenciação entre as categorias de normas de autoria dos agentes citados nos casos de corrupção.
O artigo apresenta um estudo exploratório com base nas percepções sociais sobre a Câmara Legislativa do Distrito Federal (CLDF), no que se refere aos seguintes aspectos: confiança política, imagem pública, interesse do cidadão por política e poder local. O estudo tem como base dados coletados por meio de um websurvey aplicado em 2018 com 572 cidadãos residentes no DF. As principais conclusões revelam que a percepção dos informantes é muito negativa em relação aos três aspectos analisados. A imagem pública é considerada ruim e péssima (89,16%). O nível de confiança política é baixo e muito baixo (94,06%). O interesse pela política distrital também é baixo e muito baixo (83,22%).
