La evaluación de revistas científicas a través Índice Bibliográfico Nacional Publindex ha sido producto de un proceso de mejoramiento progresivo, con la intención de consolidar la calidad de las publicaciones seriadas científicas nacionales. Sin embargo, este proceso se ha visto acompañado de múltiples inconsistencias entre las clasificaciones nacionales y los diversos indicadores internacionales de bases de datos bibliográficos.
Este documento esboza avances investigativos en torno a la relación de la diáspora científica colombiana y la cooperación internacional en Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (CTeI). Metodológicamente, se realizó una búsqueda en fuentes documentales de información, con objeto de desarrollar un estado del arte preliminar; presentar el marco institucional correspondiente y describir el proceso emigratorio del capital humano especializado, resaltando su evolución histórica y países de destino. Se destaca que Colciencias, ente rector en materia de investigación e innovación de Colombia, no dispone de canales oficiales de comunicación con la diáspora. Adicional, la información disponible sobre emigrantes calificados es limitada, lo que sugiere que por lo menos en el corto plazo, será difícil implementar políticas efectivas de repatriación cuya finalidad sea atraer los nacionales con mayores calificaciones residentes en el extranjero.
El objetivo principal de este artículo, es verificar la existencia de diferencias inter-grupos de países según su nivel de renta, relacionadas con las dimensiones de insumos y productos de innovación de acuerdo con el GII. El enfoque de la presente investigación es cuantitativa y el método utilizado es inferencial correspondiente al análisis de varianza (ANOVA). El resultado principal de este análisis, fue comprobar empíricamente que existen diferencias inter-grupos de países, con relación a su desempeño en las dimensiones de input; mientras que se comprueba igualdad de medias para el desempeño en las dimensiones de output para los grupos de países de renta Media-baja y Baja.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el perfil de los hogares colombianos de acuerdo con su nivel y estructura de gasto en consumo, a partir de datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Presupuesto de los Hogares (DANE), lo cual se considera un insumo para establecer la forma, intensidad, y focalización de la política pública en un contexto poscrisis, vía demanda. Metodológicamente se utiliza la técnica de análisis multivariado: regresión cuantílica (SQR), complementada con un análisis de datos por medio de estadística descriptiva. Entre los resultados principales encuentra, por un lado, diferencias en la estructura de gastos e ingresos de los hogares por regiones y, por otro, la significancia de las variables del jefe del hogar (edad, sexo, escolaridad, estado civil) y del contexto del hogar (tamaño, estrato, ingresos mensuales y zona de ubicación). A manera de conclusión, este tipo de investigación se constituye en un requerimiento para el análisis desde el sector público y real de la economía; además, de ser un fuerte insumo para estudios empresariales sobre el consumo masivo de bienes y servicios.
Se analiza la brecha por sexo en matemáticas (razonamiento cuantitativo) en universitarios de Colombia, con base en los resultados de las pruebas estatales de salida de la educación superior Saber Pro, 2018; incluyendo el factor regional. A partir de una modelación cuantílica y una descomposición Juhn-Murphy-Pierce; se identifica la existencia y persistencia de una brecha por sexo en el área evaluada, y diferencias entre las regiones Andina y Caribe. Se destaca: favorabilidad hacia los hombres; importancia de las características educativas e institucionales; importancia de las matemáticas de secundaria (explican cerca del 25% del diferencial); ampliación de la brecha en los cuartiles más altos; v) heterogeneidad regional de la brecha, ampliada por la interacción sexo-región.
