Uprkos propisivanju industrijski proizvedenih dermatoloških preparata, uspešna lokalna terapija određenih kožnih oboljenja i dalje zavisi od znanja i veština farmaceuta prilikom izrade magistralnih i galenskih lekova. Dermatolozi su, tradicionalno, lekari koji najčešće propisuju ove lekove na recept, zahtevajući od farmaceuta da pripremi lek odgovarajućeg sastava, primenom odgovarajućih pojedinačnih pomoćnih supstanci ili adekvatne podloge, koje često nisu i ne moraju biti propisane u receptu. Jedan od oficinalnih kremova u DAC/NRF 2013, koji se može koristiti kao podloga u izradi magistralnih lekova/preparata jeste Basiscreme DAC, čiji je sinonim Ambifilni krem. Basiscreme DAC se može koristiti za izradu hidrofilnih/lipofilnih kremova, emulzija za kožu i masti koje emulguju vodu, i pogodan je u subakutnim i hroničnim fazama bolesti kože, kao i za izradu kozmetičkih proizvoda. Cilj rada je bio da se bliže prikažu podaci za ovaj oficinalni preparat, iz monografije DAC/NRF, koji se odnose na sastav, postupak izrade, osobine, ispitivanja i upotrebu Basiscreme DAC za izradu magistralnih preparata u apotekama u Srbiji, ali i brojnih farmaceutskih preparata sa različitim lekovitim supstancama (dermatosteroidi, dekspantenol, izosorbid dinitrat itd), za koje se potrebni i korisni podaci mogu naći u DAC/NRF 2013.
