Este estudio apunta a comprender, desde la perspectiva de estudiantes de una Maestría en Educación, los usos de las tecnologías digitales en la escritura de la tesis. En esta investigación cualitativa exploratoria, se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad a cinco estudiantes. Cada investigador leyó las transcripciones y generó códigos y temas; luego las codificaciones fueron comparadas y las transcripciones codificadas en NVivo a fin de obtener un único set de categorías, que comprenden: recursos digitales, TIC, escritura y formación en la maestría, dispositivos electrónicos, articulación digital-analógico. Según lo analizado, el portátil y la computadora se presentan como dispositivos centrales, aunque también se emplea el celular. Las tesistas, mediante dispositivos electrónicos y recursos digitales, parecerían elaborar un escrito adecuado a partir de lo que inicialmente vuelcan en un papel, en una grabación o un archivo digital. Así, en relación con la investigación y su escritura, aún siguen vigentes algunas prácticas analógicas si bien existe un claro paso de las prácticas basadas en papel a los usos de herramientas digitales y recursos en línea. Finalmente, la formación intencional en escritura académica durante el proceso investigativo permitiría ver el nexo entre escritura y mediación tecnológica como un asunto más implícito en el proceso.
Este artículo hace parte de las discusiones, indagaciones y reflexiones que hemos tenido en el Grupo de Educación en Ambientes Virtuales (EAV) de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín, en el marco de la pandemia a poco menos de un año del aislamiento preventivo decretado en Colombia el pasado 16 de marzo de 2020. Derivado de este ejercicio presentamos cincos aspectos que representan tensiones, evidencias y emergencias que debemos considerar para enfrentar la nueva cotidianidad educativa. A partir de un contexto sobre algunas de las características de la educación en Colombia, se plantean elementos de la nueva cotidianidad educativa y sus implicaciones; las distintas caras de la brecha digital, que han acentuado nuestras desigualdades; la inminencia de una pedagogía híbrida que invita a asumir nuevas reflexiones pedagógicas; la importancia de crear ambientes no solo para gestionar el aprendizaje sino las emociones, y finalmente una invitación a repensar los límites y oportunidades que nos brinda la tecnología en cada contexto.
