Violencia hacia el personal de enfermería durante la pandemia del COVID-19, Paraguay 2021Violence against nursing staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, Paraguay 2021 RESUMEN Objetivo: Identificar la violencia sufrida por el personal de enfermería durante la pandemia del COVID-19 en Paraguay. Material y métodos: Estudio de corte transversal en personal de enfermería de un Hospital Regional entre mayo y agosto del año 2021. Se midió la situación de violencia sufrida por el personal de Salud durante la pandemia del COVID-19. Resultados: Participaron del estudio 161 profesionales del personal de enfermería del Hospital Regional de Coronel Oviedo. El 50.3% tenía más de 35 años, el 79.4% fue del sexo femenino. El 55.9% observó violencia en su lugar de trabajo. El tipo de violencia más frecuente fue el psicológico (79.1%), siendo en su mayoría los usuarios los que realizaban las agresiones (46.6%). En el análisis de regresión logística, la violencia física ocurrió mayormente en mujeres OR=4.38 y en aquellos con antigüedad laboral entre cinco a 10 años OR=3.40. La violencia psicológica ocurrió mayormente en enfermeros con un nivel educativo mayor OR=1.54, en pareja OR=1.38 y con una antigüedad de más de 10 años OR=3.27. La violencia sexual ocurrió en enfermeros con antigüedad entre cinco a 10 años OR=4.27, del área de urgencias OR=3.56 o el área de maternidad y obstetricia OR=3.8. Discusión: La violencia hacia el personal de enfermería fue elevada durante la pandemia del COVID-19.
