El trauma de abdomen cerrado es una lesión producida por un agente externo que deforma las estructuras o las somete a desaceleración diferencial, creando fuerzas de compresión, elongación o guillotina, que pueden producir daño visceral, si sobrepasan el umbral de tolerancia de los órganos. La metodología utilizada para el presente trabajo de investigación, se enmarcada dentro de una revisión bibliográfica de tipo documental, ya que nos vamos a ocupar de temas planteados a nivel teórico como es Trauma abdominal cerrado. Manejo inicial en urgencias. Riesgos y beneficios. La técnica para la recolección de datos está constituida por materiales electrónicos, estos últimos como Google Académico, PubMed, entre otros, apoyándose para ello en el uso de descriptores en ciencias de la salud o terminología MESH. La información aquí obtenida será revisada para su posterior análisis. El manejo o abordaje inicial en una sala de urgencias, va a depender si el paciente está estable o inestable hemodinamicamente, en este contexto las circunstancias en las cuales se sufrió la lesión, es decir, en donde y que provoco el trauma, son fundamentales, ya que da indicios a los médicos de urgencias que decisiones tomar en cuanto a las pruebas a realizar. Sin embargo, lo sugerido e indicado por la literatura es la evaluación de las constantes vitales, ya que estas ayudan a establecer un diagnóstico y la toma de decisiones clínicas.
La décima edición de consultas médicas se hace una revisión sistemática de las patologías más comunes en el primer nivel de atención y su manejo clínico. Se incluyen también algunos casos clínicos relevantes para el estudio del médico en formación y personal de salud en general.
La displasia del desarrollo de la cadera, se encuentra más asociada a un proceso biológico que a uno congénito. Consiste en una anormalidad en la articulación coxofemoral que se identifica por su laxitud o irregular posicionamiento de la cabeza femoral con respecto al acetábulo, condición que a su vez circunscribe un espectro de anomalías que van desde el aplanamiento del acetábulo o displasia acetabular hasta una luxación completa de la cabeza femoral fuera de la articulación. El objetivo del presente estudio es el de revisar y referir literatura vigente entorno a la displasia del desarrollo de la cadera, y para ello se ha llevado a adelantado una investigación de diseño documental en el marco de una metodología de revisión. En los resultados se aportan conceptos, causas, tipos, factores de riesgo, diagnóstico y tratamiento de esta condición. y Se concluye que éste tipo de patología consiste en una entidad clínica con un diverso espectro de deformidades que generalmente ocurre en la etapa perinatal, pero también puede originarse posteriormente. El examen clínico se sigue considerando primordial, cada vez más cobran importancia la complementariedad de los estudios de imagen, de allí que la combinación de éstos se cree el modelo diagnóstico ideal.
