Resumo:As oficinas e grupos terapêuticos se apresentam como um dispositivo fundamental no cotidiano de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial dada sua importância enquanto atividades grupais que podem assumir diversos formatos e finalidades, além de serem articuladores entre essa instituição e a comunidade. O presente projeto, sendo um requisito para a conclusão do curso de Psicologia, se desenvolve a partir de uma revisão integrativa da literatura com o intuito de fornecer um panorama sobre as atividades grupais direcionadas a adultos no Brasil através dos CAPS. Recuperou-se 30 artigos que foram submetidos a uma análise quantitativa e qualitativa, havendo a categorização das informações referentes ao funcionamento das atividades grupais e a construção de quatro eixos temáticos organizados em: (a) Contribuições das atividades grupais; (b) Dificuldades enfrentadas para o desenvolvimento das atividades grupais; (c) Demandas dos participantes que surgiram nas atividades grupais e (d) Reprodução do modelo manicomial versus Desinstitucionalização. A partir dos resultados encontrados, discutiram-se as transformações que as atividades grupais provocam nos usuários do serviço e em suas famílias; as dificuldades enfrentadas desde as estruturais até aquelas relacionadas à formação dos profissionais responsáveis pelas atividades; e formas de garantir que as atividades grupais corroborem para assegurar a política de desinstitucionalização, a articulação com o território e comunidade e a reinserção social. Conclui-se a importância do alinhamento, tanto da formação acadêmica, quanto da prática nas atividades grupais, com a política da desinstitucionalização e outras diretrizes que norteiam o fazer em Saúde Mental. Abstract:The workshops and therapeutic groups are fundamental devices in the daily life of a Center for Psychosocial Care given their importance as group activities that can assume different formats and purposes, besides being articulators between this institution and the community. The present project, that is a requirement for the conclusion of the Psychology course, develops from an integrative literature review in order to provide an overview of the group activities directed to adults in Brazil through Psychosocial Care Centers. 30 articles that were submitted to a quantitative and qualitative analysis were retrieved, and categorized according to information related to the functioning of group activities into four thematic axes: (a) Contributions of group activities; (B) Difficulties faced for the development of group activities; (C) Demands of the participants that emerged in the group activities and (d) Reproduction of the manicomial model versus Deinstitutionalization.
