Introducción. El objetivo final de un estudiante universitario es graduarse. Independientemente cuál sea el tiempo de duración de la carrera universitaria, el estudiante tiene derecho a graduarse sin discriminación alguna tras cumplir con todos los méritos académicos que la Universidad le exija, si bien es cierto que estas estadísticas son de dominio común en las universidades, las características asociadas a la deserción y la graduación de los estudiantes corresponden con aspectos que se pueden intervenir en las universidades para incrementar la permanencia y la graduación. Objetivo. El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad del modelo online en la graduación de estudiantes de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad de Guayaquil, Ecuador, que había sido normalmente presencial. Metodología. Consistió en una investigación descriptiva de enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra estuvo conformada por un grupo de 302 personas entre estudiantes y tutores de las nueve carreras no vigentes habilitadas para el registro de títulos de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad de Guayaquil, Ecuador, a quienes se les formuló una encuesta en línea empleando Google Forms y conformada por 7 preguntas. Empleando el software Spss Statistics se contrastaron los datos recogidos. Resultados. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron la efectividad del modelo online en la graduación de estudiantes mediante las actividades previas, desarrollo y evaluación. Conclusión. La efectividad del modelo online en el nivel superior aumenta las probabilidades de graduación de los estudiantes que por sus empleos y condiciones demográficas y socioeconómicas no pueden continuar estudios superiores presenciales.
RESUMENLos cambios tecnológicos, se han convertido en factores fundamentales para lograr eficiencia en la realización de todas las actividades cotidianas, laborales, sociales, culturales entre otras. Es importante resaltar, que dentro de la administración debido a la necesidad de visualizar las funciones administrativas desde una perspectiva innovadora, obliga a los administradores a buscar mediante la incorporación de los entornos digitales que facilitan su interconexión con los mercados globalizados e hiperconectados y así convertir las empresas en organizaciones flexibles, capaces de responder oportunamente a sus demanda. En otras palabras, la transformación digital no es más que procurar la adaptación de las empresas a los cambios tecnológicos del entorno y llevarlas hacia la competitividad como escenario que hace posible registrar cambios permanentes en los diferentes procesos, departamentos y datos básicos para llegar a una toma de decisiones acertada. No obstante, los gerentes actuales debido a las mismas presiones generadas por el abordaje tecnológico, se alejan de dichas consideraciones negando con ello el crecimiento empresarial, pues, el uso de las nuevas tecnologías y herramientas dirigen la actividad administrativa a buscar una actuación cónsona a la llamada inteligencia artificial, mediante la incorporación de la robótica, creación de apps, diseño, aplicación de estrategias y herramientas de marketing digital incluyendo el uso de la web, blog y redes sociales corporativas para la publicación de contenidos de valor dirigidos al público. De allí, la necesidad que tiene el administrador de involucrar a todo el talento humano hacia los nuevos procesos y modelos de negocios como una forma de hacer crecer la organización del entorno donde se circunscribe.Aspectos que determinan la metodología del presente artículo al buscar analizar E-marketing en los entornos digitales aplicados a la administración, lo que permite ubicarlo en el campo documental, evento que facilita la construcción de sus conclusiones.
