Tumorgewebe enthaltende Diffusionskammern, die mit Membranfiltern unterschiedlicher Porengröße verschlossen waren, wurden Inzuchtratten der Stämme Rehbrücke, Sprague-Dawley und Wistar intraperitoneal implantiert. Der Kammerinhalt bestand aus Transplantationstumor-Geweben, Walker - Karzinom (182 Tiere), Jensen- Sarkom (54 Tiere) oder Yoshida- Sarkom (63 Tiere). Die Kammern wurden den Tieren nach verschiedenen Zeitabständen entnommen und das Wachstum der Zellen histologisch und biologisch durch isologe Weitertransplantation der Kammerinhalte auf nicht vorbehandelte Ratten kontrolliert. Diese Wachstums- und Virulenzprüfungen nach verschiedenen Implantationszeiten ergaben bei Walker - Ca. in 74/81, Jensen- Sa. in 19/23 und Yoshida - Sa. in 26/27 Fällen identische Tumoren bei den Kontrolltieren. Das Zellwachstum in den Kammern war bei Zusatz von Heparin zu den implantierten Tumorgeweben deutlich gehemmt.
