La presente investigación tuvo como problema principal una dificultad que siempre se había presentado en mi práctica docente: que estudiantes de niveles educativos menores a tercero medio formularan preguntas investigables. Para estudiar esta problemática, inicié una investigación-acción, donde como primer punto realicé un análisis de registros anecdóticos de clases pasadas en las que había trabajado con preguntas investigables. En base a los resultados de este análisis, realicé una secuencia didáctica en donde trabajé con preguntas investigables desde la historia de las ciencias y la indagación abierta, con estudiantes de primero medio en contexto de clases virtuales durante la pandemia por COVID-19 del año 2020. Produje información de lo sucedido durante el proceso, a través de tickets de salida, un diario íntimo y apoyándome de diálogos generados durante las clases de la secuencia didáctica implementada. Las principales reflexiones que pude extraer del proceso son: 1) Para formular preguntas investigables es necesario dejar que las y los estudiantes sean curiosos, autónomos y creativos, pero también es necesario la guía efectiva de un profesor 2) las y los estudiantes pueden llegar a establecer características de las preguntas investigables desde la experiencia. Puedo concluir que estas reflexiones han generados cambios en mi práctica y en mi relación con mis estudiantes, modificando también mi propia forma de ser profesora de ciencias.
La propuesta que se describe fue desarrollada con el fin de propiciar la conformación de ambientes de aprendizaje destinados al desarrollo de competencias científicas acordes al currículo escolar chileno, incorporando diversas Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC) mediante un proceso de exploración, comprensión y resignificación para su uso llevado a cabo por docentes de aula a través de una instancia de dialogo, colaboración, reflexión y toma de decisión denominada Círculos Profesionales de Reflexión Docente. Tomando como marco conceptual curricular la relación entre Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad (CTS), los docentes participantes, agrupados en cada círculo, diseñaron y pusieron en práctica un conjunto de diseños de aula (secuencias formativas) con estudiantes del Nivel Básico 6 (8.º año de educación general básica) utilizando el método indagativo como forma de organizar las actividades de aprendizaje. Los resultados obtenidos muestran por una parte, la oportunidad para promover cambios en las creencias de los docentes a partir de los espacios de reflexión colaborativo, y por otra, el desarrollo de competencias científicas y tecnológicas en los estudiantes.
