Freire (UEMS) 2 RESUMO Fundamentado na teoria de Jacques Derrida em "Os Espectros de Marx" , o presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar os espectros presentes na obra "A Metamorfose" (1997), de Franz Kafka. Para isso, foram analisados e considerados os espectros que conotam o homem, com base na Teoria de Jacques Derrida, a qual analisa a presença desses espectros no personagem principal da obra de Kafka, a essência do povo e o Todo, através da análise de como o personagem protagonista e sua família reage à sua metamorfose, uma vez que é este o acontecimento que desencadeia a compreensão espectropoética da obra. Essa pesquisa utiliza, principalmente, a estratégia de revisão bibliográfica de caráter dedutivo com base nas teorias de Jacques Derrida (1994) a respeito da espectralidade. Investiga, assim, a relação do passado escravocrata em "A Metamorfose" (1997). Mediante a leitura crítica da obra é investigado o pressuposto de que a obra possui a espectralidade que ronda e assombra o homem moderno e, a maneira como esta interfere em sua personalidade e ações. Em suma, ao investigar ambos os espectros presentes na novela de Franz Kafka, constata-se, então, a intenção do autor de provocar indagações a respeito da relação do homeme também de todo o seu povocom a exploração, com o Estado, com o capital e também a respeito de como essa organização social faz com que o indivíduo, cedo ou tarde, perca-se de si mesmo e daqueles à quem ele se dedica; como cada indivíduo se perde um do outro em prol de um sistema que, inegavelmente, não possui o mínimo de sensibilidade coletiva e consequentemente constrói uma sociedade de cidadãos igualmente egoístas e autocentrados.
