Changes in human behavior towards the environment, barriers to urban development, globalization and climate change are some of the factors that contribute to the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases. The incident affects three arboviruses in Brazil, Chikungunya, Dengue and Zika, which are widely disseminated by mosquito vectors distributed throughout the country, related to humans, causing major public health problems. In the absence of effective vaccines and specific treatments, it is important to maintain and integrate ongoing entomological and epidemiological surveillance to guide the country's control and prevention approaches against these arboviroses. The Annonaceae family has been extensively studied to utilize many species as a source of insecticidal compounds with different modes of action on insects. Therefore, this work aimed to develop a natural, economical and sustainable product using Annona squamosa leaf extract as a resource against Aedes aegypti larvae. From the results, one can prove the hypothesis that the natural insecticide developed from the leaf extract of the fruit of the conde (Annona squamosa) is very effective and also effective in reducing the mortality of Aedes aegypti.
Objective: To analyze the role of the nurse in the education and promotion of self-care in Parkinsonian elderly patients. Method: This is an integrative review study, carried out through a survey of data in the scientific bases: LILACS, SCIELO and MEDLINE. Results: Nine studies were selected for the research discussion. Discussion: Home health care is defined as providing services to patients at home. Care starts with the personal, initially through activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, nutrition, exercise, clothing, as well as through guidelines for dressing and administering medications as needed. Care for the elderly is observed, carried out at home by relatives who normally do not receive the necessary training. Final Considerations: Nurses must implement a care system that describes all the necessary care procedures for patients, allow other team members to implement and monitor the patient's development and encourage self-care at each stage of the disease.
The changes in human behavior towards the environment, the disorderly urban development, globalization and climate change are some of the factors that promote the occurrence and spread of pests that somehow bring damage. This occurrence is aimed at termites, which are insects known for their habit of feeding on cellulose, that is, papers, books, and wooden structures, causing accidents. Cryptotermes brevis are a major cause of damage to various wood species commonly used throughout the country, which cause major public health problems. Annonaceae have been extensively investigated because they present many species as a source of insecticidal compounds with different modes of action on insects. Therefore, this work aims to develop a natural, economical and sustainable product by using the extracts of the seeds of the fruit of the earl (Annona squamosa) as a resource to combat dry wood termites. From the results, it was possible to prove the veracity of the hypothesis that the natural insecticides developed from the extract of the seeds of the fruit of the earl (Annona squamosa) are very efficient, and are effective in the issue of mortality rates of Cryptotermes brevis.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
