Resiliencia es un concepto que ha tomado mayor resonancia en Puerto Rico tras el impacto de los huracanes Irma y María, integrándose indistintamente en la forma discursiva, teórica o práctica, en el trabajo con personas y en las gestiones gubernamentales. En este trabajo se presenta un análisis de contenido sobre las políticas públicas propuestas por la Asamblea Legislativa de Puerto Rico que incorporaron el concepto resiliencia. Se analizan las conceptualizaciones sobre resiliencia de la teoría crítica de Michel Foucault, con la finalidad de problematizarlas y contextualizarlas en las imbricaciones de las dinámicas sociales, políticas, económicas y ambientales de la Isla. Además, se abordan las implicaciones de este análisis para la gestión de política pública desde la perspectiva de Trabajo Social, así como recomendaciones para una práctica antiopresiva.
