This research contains an analysis of the "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" novel by Mira W, which tells of various aspects of life in a civilized environment. In the novel, there are various social problems, so it is fulfilled to research social deviations. Structural functionalism's theory of social deviance sees deviant behavior as a result of social structural pressures. The focus of this research is to describe the manifestations of social deviance behavior and the factors that cause these social deviations, which are constructed in the "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" novel by Mira W. It includes the type of literature research with a qualitative descriptive approach based on the study of the sociology of literature. Data was collected through reading and note-taking techniques which produced data in the form of dialogue or monologue and narration from the data source of the novel entitled "Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih" by Mira W. This research succeeded in deciphering the types of social deviance from the novel, namely sexual deviance, crime, and lifestyle deviance. While the factors that cause these social deviations are the inability to absorb cultural norms and deviant learning processes.
The purpose of this research is to describe implementation of P5 learning based on local wisdom of Malang batik, describe the involvement of Indonesian language in batik project and find out the profile of Pancasila students. Including qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by interview and observation techniques. The research data consisted of a series of Malang batik project activities and student attitudes. This research fills gaps from previous research which emphasizes the research focus on implementation of P5 activities with the theme of local wisdom with the outcomes of Malang batik and the involvement of Indonesian in Malang batik project activities. The research results show that implementation of the P5 project is carried out using a daily system. Indonesian was involved in the stages of the Malang batik making project. Profile of Pancasila students can be seen from attitude of mutual cooperation, creativity and single diversity.
Petra is one of the ritual dolls used by the Tenggerese people. Petra is generally used in funeral ceremonies as a symbol of ancestral spirits or people who have died, so petra is a doll that is respected by the local community. This study focuses on examining the plant lexicon that composes Petra dolls. This research was conducted to increase the understanding of the local community about the dolls commonly used in rituals as a symbol of the ancestors and to examine the possibility of inter-language contact. This research was conducted in Tengger Village using a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and interview data collection methods. Sources of data were obtained from traditional healers and Pak Sepuh. Data analysis used lexical semantic analysis. The results of this study show the lexicon of the plants that make up the petra doll; the meaning indicated; and petra as a marker of ancestral identity. Petra is made from selected plants that grow in the Tengger region and become a medium for ancestral spirits in funeral ceremonies.
