This article examines the formation of students' readiness to organize cultural and leisure activities, which are laid in extracurricular activities of students, their participation in realization of own interests and cultural needs, contributing to correction of their leisure culture, as well as active participation in volunteer organizational work with various categories population. The culture of a student's personal leisure in this regard is one of the important factors in preparation of a social teacher for organization of cultural and leisure activities, since a subject capable of organizing his or her leisure will be able to initiate the leisure of his/her pupils.
