O artigo reflete sobre o material educativo digital desenvolvido para o curso de Pedagogia da Universidade La Salle - Canoas. Essa proposta emerge das experiências vivenciadas pelos autores em disciplinas ofertadas na modalidade a distância. Para superar as dificuldades evidenciadas nas experiências anteriores, considerando o contexto da cibercultura encontramos como possibilidade a literaturalização das ciências, na construção do E-book Educação, Tecnologias e Cibercultura. A reflexão, desenvolvida no grupo de pesquisa COTEDIC UNILASALLE/CNPq, objetiva compreender a estrutura utilizada na construção do E-book para o curso de Pedagogia e identificar as contribuições para aprendizagem dos estudantes. A pesquisa de natureza qualitativa foi desenvolvida na metodologia de Estudo de Caso, com os instrumentos: E-book, tecnologias de compartilhamento e comunicação e ambiente virtual de aprendizagem, ou seja, os registros das ações dos estudantes. A partir dos dados empíricos evidenciamos na literaturalização das ciências possibilidades de estabelecer metáforas para a construção do conhecimento. Assim como, a utilização da história para contextualizar esses conhecimentos, problematizá-los por meio dos personagens e explorar a representação da imersão. Destacamos, a necessidade de ressignificar as práticas pedagógicas em congruência com o contexto contemporâneo e intensificar a mediação pedagógica na Educação On-line.
