O transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade (TDAH) é um distúbrio neurodesenvolvimental multifatorial que se caracteriza por desatenção, hiperatividade, inquietação, esquecimento e impulsividade. Existem evidências de que o TDAH se trata, de fato, de uma disfunção da neurotransmissão dopaminérgica na área frontal, regiões subcorticais e região límbica cerebral, evidenciada através de estudos científicos, apoiados por evidências neurológicas e estudos genéticos. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi avaliar, por meio da literatura científica, as alterações anatômicas e funcionais do cérebro de pacientes com TDAH. Este estudo consiste em uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada com artigos publicados nas bases de SciELO (Scientific Eletronic Library Online), Google Acadêmico, periódicos online, como a Revista Saúde em Foco e a Associação Saúde da Família, e os livros Princípios de Anatomia e Fisiologia e Princípios de neurociência, utilizando os descritores “alterações”, “anatomia”, “função”, “cérebro” e “TDAH”. As descobertas mais relevantes mostram que há a diminuição da quantidade e atividade da substância branca e cinzenta do cérebro de indivíduos com TDAH, além da evidência da redução do córtex pré-frontal em indivíduos com TDAH. Além disso, notou-se que o déficit nos neurotransmissores dopamina e norepinefrina influenciam na sintomatologia do TDAH. Desta forma, conclui-se que o TDAH apresenta alterações anatômicas e funcionais importantes que afetam o desenvolvimento do circuito cerebral, gerando uma disfunção e uma alteração no funcionamento neurobiológico, além de provocar um funcionamento atípico do lobo frontal e de estruturas associadas a ele, influenciando no déficit comportamental inibitório e prejudicando as funções executivas do portador de tal condição clínica.
O Brasil vive um processo acelerado de urbanização que muitas vezes está associado com a falta de projetos de planejamento. Esta transformação da paisagem tende a reduzir a qualidade ambiental urbana com a diminuição de áreas com vegetação e espaços para o lazer, por exemplo. Sendo assim, para minimizar esses problemas, o conhecimento da quantidade e distribuição da Cobertura Vegetal (CV) e dos Espaços de Uso Público e Livres de Edificação (EUPLE) é fundamental para o (re)planejamento nos bairros nos municípios, para auxiliar na manutenção e promoção do bem estar humano. Assim, o presente trabalho de pesquisa analisa a Cobertura Vegetal e os EUPLEs nos bairros Centro Histórico e Santa Helena do município de Paranaguá, no litoral do estado do Paraná. O primeiro é o bairro mais antigo da cidade, sendo o ponto de referência tanto para turistas como para habitantes da cidade. O segundo, expandiu espontaneamente a partir da década de 1990. Utilizando recursos de Software do Google Earth Pro e QGIS, foi possível levantar os dados e após análise visual comparativa, verificar que existem diferenças na quantidade e distribuição da CV e dos EUPLEs entre esses bairros. No bairro Centro Histórico foi encontrado 14,81% de CV, distribuídos principalmente em pequenos fragmentos isolados no interior das quadras e também associados aos 17 EUPLEs encontrados. Estes existem em quantidade e distribuídos para atender a população residente, trabalhadores e turistas. No bairro Santa Helena a CV foi de 30,57%, destaca-se na sua distribuição, grandes fragmentos de manguezais, nas margens do Rio Emboguaçu, nos limites do bairro. Há somente um EUPLE no bairro Santa Helena, indicando que não é suficiente para atender a população. Os resultados reforçam a necessidade de planejamento da CV e dos espaços de uso coletivo para o lazer, que são de extrema importância para a qualidade ambiental, pelas funções socioecológicas nesses bairros, promovendo maior sustentabilidade, resiliência e contribuindo para o bem estar humano nessas paisagens.
