Zarys treści: W niniejszym artykule, na przykładzie Pomorza (województwa pomorskiego i zachodniopomorskiego), zaprezentowano wybrane działania edukacyjne podejmowane przez społeczności lokalne, które wpływają na rozwój społeczno-ekonomiczny pomorskich wsi. Zobrazowano ogólny stan szkolnictwa obszaru badawczego. Uwzględ-niono aktywność wybranych organizacji w zakresie edukacji dzieci i młodzieży pochodzącej ze środowisk wiejskich, głównie poprzez tworzenie małych szkół i przedszkoli, a także specjalizacji wsi. Ponadto, zwrócono uwagę na kwestię wykorzystania środków unijnych w tym zakresie.Słowa kluczowe: obszary wiejskie, edukacja, społeczność lokalna.
Zmiany w jakości kształcenia akademickiego w dobie pandemii COVID-19Changes in the quality of academic education in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic StreszczenieSystem szkolnictwa w Polsce przeszedł w pierwszym okresie pandemii koronawirusa i w warunkach konieczności prowadzenia nauczania zdal nego przyspieszony proces wdrażania rozwiązań edukacji na odległość. Zadaniem, które sobie wyznaczyły uczelnie wyższe w dobie panującej pandemii, było utrzymanie jakości kształcenia na istniejącym poziomie, przy jednoczesnym zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa studentom i wykładow com. Zasadniczym celem opracowania jest zobrazowanie zmian w procesie kształcenia akademickiego, które nastąpiły w czasie pandemii COVID19. W niniejszym artykule wskazano na specyficzne cechy kształcenia zdalne go, wskazując jego pozytywne i negatywne strony. Do realizacji założo nego celu posłużyła kwerenda literatury krajowej i zagranicznej z zakresu prezentowanej problematyki badawczej, jak też analiza wtórnych źródeł informacji, głównie raportów z badań dotyczących kształcenia zdalnego w czasie pandemii. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, że wymuszone przeniesienie edukacji na platformy wirtualne przyniosło pewne korzyści, ale i spowodowało szereg niekorzystnych zmian. Współcześnie obszary wiejskie wypełniają zróżnicowane funkcje w rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczym. Funkcje terenów wiejskich ewoluują, tworząc przestrzeń wielofunkcyjną. Celem opracowania jest zobrazowanie zmian zachodzących w poszczególnych funkcjach obszarów wiejskich i ich rozwój. Na podstawie studiów literatury z zakresu podejmowanej problematyki, przedstawiono różnice w podejściu badaczy do kwestii rozwoju wielofunkcyjnego w Polsce. Uwypuklono elementy wpływające na wielofunkcyjny rozwój wsi i rolnictwa, wskazując na przyczyny, skutki i bariery tej koncepcji. W oparciu o różnorodne kryteria zobrazowano klasyfikacje funkcji wsi i rolnictwa. Rozwijanie w przestrzeni wiejskiej funkcji innych niż rolnicza pozwolą na utrzymanie żywotności wsi, zapewnienie odpowiedniego standardu życia jej mieszkańcom i dalszego spełniania przez nie szeregu funkcji, często innowacyjnych i perspektywicznych.
Odnowa wsi jest propozycją programu rozwoju obszarów wiejskich, wspieraną przez Unię Europejską. Celem pracy było ukazanie roli, jaką odegrał regionalny program odnowy wsi (Pomorski Program Odnowy Wsi) na badanych wiejskich obszarach peryferyjnych województwa pomorskiego. W artykule skrótowo pokazano główne założenia odnowy wsi, zaprezentowano aktywność inwestycyjną gmin korzystających z unijnych funduszy oraz dokonano charakterystyki wpływu współczesnych trendów rozwojowych na sytuację peryferyjnych wsi. Pomorski Program Odnowy Wsi stanowił istotny instrument do poprawy warunków społeczno-ekonomicznych prezentowanych terenów wiejskich.
