A higienização das mãos é uma das principais medidas no que se refere à prevenção de transmissão de diversas doenças, entre as quais, destaca-se a COVID-19. Afinal, sabe-se que sua transmissão ocorre quando há contato do vírus com a boca, o nariz ou os olhos, por meio de mãos não higienizadas. Nota-se, portanto, que manter as mãos limpas evita a infecção e a transmissão da doença. Levando-se em consideração essas informações, o presente estudo disserta sobre o impacto da lavagem das mãos, correlacionando-o com a ansiedade durante a pandemia SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). A investigação da temática, problema de pesquisa aqui exposto, surge da necessidade de se compreender os elos sociais de caráter essencial que, sem dúvida, contribuirão não apenas para os profissionais da saúde, mas também para acadêmicos, docentes e a coletividade, de forma geral. Quanto aos critérios metodológicos, a pesquisa se desenvolveu pelo método exploratório-descritivo, cuja escolha foi fundamental no que se relaciona à coleta de dados, bem como ao tratamento das informações obtidas, isto é, a análise da população e dos critérios investigados, momento em que a pesquisa se direciona ao exame dos dados de forma analítica e descritiva. Por derradeiro, o presente estudo objetiva trazer a discussão, a identificação dos principais problemas correlacionados com a ansiedade vivenciados pelos profissionais da saúde envolvidos diretamente no enfrentamento da pandemia de COVID-19, igualmente apontar ações e estratégias futuras a proteção e prevenção de quadros de ansiedade.
Hand hygiene is one of the main measures concerning preventing the transmission of various diseases, among them, COVID-19 stands out here. It is known that its transmission occurs when there is contact of the virus with the mouth, nose, or eyes, through unwashed hands. It is noted, therefore, that keeping hands clean prevents infection and disease transmission. Considering this information, the present study discusses the impact of hand washing correlating with anxiety during the SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic. Of understanding the essential social links that will undoubtedly contribute not only to professionals in the field but also to academics, teachers, and the community in general. As for the methodological criteria, the research was developed by the exploratory method- descriptive, the choice of method was fundamental in terms of data collection, as well as in the treatment of the information obtained, that is, the analysis of the population, and the investigated criteria, a moment in which the research is directed to the examination of the data of analytical and descriptive way.
