A COVID-19 é uma doença infecciosa, com transmissão respiratória, ocasionada pelo novo coronavírus. Em virtude da alta transmissibilidade viral, as atividades desportivas foram severamente impactadas em todo o mundo e, no Brasil, o futebol foi paralisado por cerca de quatro meses. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar as atividades com maior risco em um clube de futebol da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, a partir de estudo transversal com ênfase semiquantitativa. Os resultados demonstraram que o treino físico mostrou maior número de toques (105) com grande prevalência de mão na bola (94%). A pesquisa de anticorpos identificou que 24,2% testaram positivo para IgG durante o estudo. Durante a fase de treinamento não foram identificados casos de transmissão do SARS-CoV-2 entre jogadores e staff. Acredita-se que as medidas de biossegurança e o comprometimento individual e coletivo de todos no isolamento social e nas medidas de higiene constituem importante estratégia para a viabilidade das atividades esportivas.
