El artículo integra una reflexión respecto a los efectos psicosociales del Covid-19 en Cuba enlazados con perspectivas de solución dirigidas a dimensiones de la equidad social. En correspondencia con su objetivo, dedicado a estimular un análisis de las consecuencias sociales del Covid-19 en relación con dimensiones de equidad. Metodológicamente se fundamenta en la integración de resultados publicados respecto a efectos principalmente psicológicos de la enfermedad tanto a nivel internacional como nacional y la experiencia de evaluación psicosocial desplegada por los autores durante un año de evolución de este problema de salud en Cuba. Como principal contribución ofrece un análisis de las oportunidades y desafíos ante las consecuencias sociales de la crisis sanitaria para el desarrollo humano. ABSTRACT The article includes a reflection on the psychosocial effects of Covid-19 in Cuba linked to solution perspectives directed at dimensions of social equity. In line with its objective, dedicated to stimulating an analysis of the social consequences of Covid-19 in relation to equity dimensions. Methodologically, it is based on the integration of published results regarding mainly psychological effects of the disease at both international and national levels and the psychosocial evaluation experience deployed by the authors during a year of evolution of this health problem in Cuba. As its main contribution, it offers an analysis of the opportunities and challenges in the face of the social consequences of the health crisis for human development.
