Introducción. Actualmente el impacto ambiental es más evidente y perceptible a nuestros sentidos; los tryrtyuiñuyiiiirrcambios en los diferentes ecosistemas ponen en evidencia la urgente necesidad de articular los planes, programas y políticas entre los Estados, las empresas y los ciudadanos; para ello se requieren sistemas de información que permitan la gestión de dichos planes y programas. Es así como la contabilidad, desde su dimensión holística, se convierte en eje facilitador para la identificación, registro y control de todas las acciones previstas para mitigar el impacto ambiental. Objetivo. El objetivo del estudio fue realizar una revisión y análisis bibliográfico sobre los avances y tendencias de la contabilidad ambiental a partir de la producción científica en la categoría “Accounting” de los AJSC Codes de Elsevier. Materiales y métodos. En la revisión documental y bibliográfica en la base de datos Scopus (Elsevier) se identificaron 332 documentos publicados con la palabra clave environmental accounting. Resultados. Posteriormente se agruparon los documentos (citas-tipos) y autores por país, luego se ordenaron de mayor a menor frecuencia. Como resultado se obtuvo que la producción científica en el período 1996-2015 con la palabra clave environmental accounting (contabilidad ambiental) equivale a solo el 0.6 % del número de documentos publicados en la categoría Accounting. Conclusión. Por tanto, los cambios suscitados en la economía global, así como la introducción de nuevos marcos normativos contables han desplazado el interés de los investigadores contables sobre el campo ambiental, lo cual se refleja en la baja producción científica al respecto; adicionalmente, Latinoamérica representa solo el 6,3 % del total de documentos analizados.
En este artículo se presenta el recaudo tributario del impuesto a las transacciones financieras durante el período 2000 a 2014, se describen los antecedentes normativos, los referentes internacionales y la relación del impuesto con los agregados económicos y la oferta monetaria M1 y M2 en Colombia, con la finalidad de analizar la dinámica del recaudo impositivo y su relación con la oferta agregada de efectivo, cuentas de ahorro, CDT y cuentas corrientes, el estudio se realizó utilizando el método analítico-descriptivo a través de los datos obtenidos en las estadísticas sobre el recaudo tributario reportadas por la Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales U.A.E DIAN y las estadísticas de agre-gados monetarios del Banco de la República. Se observaron tasas de crecimiento promedio anual en el impuesto a las transacciones financieras superiores al recaudo tributario y a la oferta monetaria, adicionalmente el incremento de tarifas del 2 al 4 x mil permitieron incrementar el recaudo tributario no obstante, la regresividad e inequidad del impuesto propenden por el aumento del uso de efectivo, la desbancarización e informalidad de los contribuyentes
ResumenIntroducción. El desarrollo científico de la contabilidad en las últimas dos décadas ha sido marcado por importantes hechos económicos y financieros que han trascendido fronteras, como la crisis generada por Enron en 2001 y la caída de Lehman Brothers en 2008, que pusieron de manifiesto la necesidad de revisar las bases técnicas y éticas que sustentaban la información contable y financiera. Ante estos inminentes fenómenos, la actividad científica en torno a la contabilidad ha sido dinámica durante el período objeto del presente estudio, por lo tanto es importante preguntarse ¿Cuáles han sido las tendencias investigativas en la categoría Accounting del área Business, Management and Accounting de los AJSC Codes de Elsevier?. Objetivos. El presente estudio realiza una revisión bibliográfica sobre las tendencias en el campo de la contabilidad a partir de la producción científica en la categoría Accounting del área Business, Management and Accounting de los AJSC Codes de Elsevier. Materiales y métodos. A partir de los 126 Journals indexados en Scopus con la categoría Accounting, se identifican los 15 que la tienen como única categoría, con base en los cuales se agrupan palabras clave, documentos -citas y tipos-y autores por país y se ordenan de mayor a menor frecuencia. Resultados. Los Journals identificados tienen un 66,81% de documentos citados; 1.233 palabras clave, con una frecuencia promedio de 3,09 por palabra clave, 5.245 documentos (9,4 citas/documento) 1.779 autores (2,67 documentos/autor) y 964 instituciones (5,51 documentos/institución). Conclusiones. Las tendencias en contabilidad en la última década están orientadas hacia la homogeneización del lenguaje contable, la regulación contable internacional y el gobierno corporativo, lo cual se refleja en la producción científica la categoría Accounting del área Business, Management and Accounting los AJSC Codes de Elsevier.
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar la tenencia y uso de TIC en empresas colombianas de educación superior privada. La investigación es de tipo descriptivo. El diseño de la investigación es transversal. La muestra son las 5.231 empresas, 165 de ellas de Educación superior privada, que rindieron el módulo TIC de la Encuesta Anual de Servicios 2015 (DANE, 2016a). El uso de herramientas TIC, el tipo de obtención de aplicaciones o programas informáticos, el porcentaje de personal ocupado que usa herramientas TIC para su trabajo, el uso de redes TIC, el porcentaje de empresas con mayor velocidad de conexión a internet, la realización de actividades o servicios a través de internet y el uso de plataforma electrónica para vender productos y/o comprar insumos predominan en las empresas colombianas de educación superior privada con respecto a las del sector servicios en su conjunto.
