1. Es wurde nachgewiesen, daß die zweiwertigen Oxyde von Zink, Kupfer, Nickel und Kobalt im Gegensatz zum Magnesiumoxyd mit Natriumoxyd reagieren. Auf der Na2Oreichen Seite wurden röntgenographisch folgende „Orthosalze”︁ festgestellt:Na4CO3, Na2NiO2, Na4CuO3 und Na6ZnO4.
2. Weiterhin ließ sich das Vorhandensein Na2O‐ärmerer Verbindungen nachweisen, deren Zusammensetzung auf Grund des vorliegenden Versuchsmaterials noch nicht endgültig gesichert ist. Additionsverbindungen der Formeln Na4NiO3, Na4ZnO3 und die der Phase Na6ZnO4 analog zusammengesetzten Verbindungen der anderen Schwermetalloxyde traten unter den gewählten Versuchsbedingungen nicht auf.
3. Aus der Existenz der aufgefundenen Verbindungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Nichtbestehen einer entsprechenden Natriumoxyd‐Magnesiumoxyd‐doppelverbindung und aus der unterschiedlichen Zusammensetzung der basenreichsten Verbindungen trotz gleicher Ionenladung und nahezu gleicher Raumerfüllung der variierten Ionen wird gefolgert, daß nicht elektrostatische Kräfte an dem Aufbau der Doppelverbindungen wesentlich beteiligt sein müssen.
4. Trotz des Fehlens einer Strukturaufklärung der gefundenen Verbindungen wurde wahrscheinlich gemacht, daß diese den Doppeloxydverbindungen ohne abgrenzbare Anionengruppen (von der Art des Spinelles) entweder angehören oder wenigstens näher stehen als den echten Salzen.
