AbstradThe discomycete Leptotrochila porri Arx et Bocrema is recorded for the first time in New Zealand where it is found as a parasite of leek (AUium porrum L.). It has previously been known only from the Netherlands. Cultures derived from solitary ascospores produced fertile apothecia. No anamorph was seen and the species is assumed to be a holomorphic teleomorph.
