Summary-Studying the thermal annealing in pure and phosphate-doped K 2 Cr0 4 , it was observed that the greater the dopant concentration the smaller the annealing degree and the activation energy. A comparison between the effects of the doping with an anion -electron donor (P0 4 3-) -and a cation -electron acceptor (La 3+ ) -on the annealing processes was also done. The conclusion that the model of the electronic transitions leads to mechanisms compatible with the phenomenology and the kinetics of recoil atoms in La 3 + or P0 4 3doped K 2 Cr0 4 is drawn.
