The dynamic theory of the conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) is considered with the help of the electron-nuclear density matrix. The cross section of the Mossbauer conversion process, electron and conversion linewidths are calculated. As an application of the developed theory, the ultrasonic modulation by Ra yleigh waves and the y-ray magnetic resonance effect are investigated. The possibility of the CEMS application for surface phenomena is discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
