In the recent years, we have many problems such as energy crises and environment degradation due to increasing CO2 emissions on ozone layer depletion has become the primary concern to both developed and developing countries. Using thermo-electric module is going to be one of the most effective, clean and environment friendly system. The main advantage of the thermoelectric refrigerator is no need of any refrigerant and mechanical devices like compressor, prime mover, etc for its operation. Thermo electric refrigerator works on the principle of Peltier effect, when a direct current is passed between two electrically dissimilar materials heat is absorbed or liberated at the junction. The direction of the heat flow depends on the direction of applied electric current. The materials used for the thermo electric refrigerator are Silicongermanium and its alloys. The main objective is to design and fabrication of thermo-electric refrigerator with an interior cooling volume of 0.0258m3
The main aim of the present investigation was to characterize the lubricant dispersed with ZnO-TiO 2 hybrid nanoparticles. The work includes a dispersion of nanoparticles with varying proportions of 0.02 to 0.08 with an incremental step of 0.02 wt. % of base oil. Further, the samples were used to study the thermo-physical properties. The characterization result includes crystallinity and particle size of Zinc-oxide and titania nanoparticles, whereas the nano-based lubricant is characterized for its chemical compatibility, thermal conductivity, viscosity, and thermal stability. The result favors enhancing the thermo-physical properties of nano-based lubricant.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a very important feature in the agricultural sector. m-extension is the emerging ield of ICT for providing easy access to information at any place and any time. Researchers and Extensionists are important stake holders in the development of agricultural sector. This study examines the constraints perceived by agricultural extension personnel of Kerala in using m-tools. Data were collected using a pre-structured interview schedule. Results showed that majority of the extension personnel opined that non-availability of Malayalam (local language) interface and non-availability of mobile phone networks in remote areas were the major constraints faced by them in using m-tools.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
