The synthesis of a series of N‐glycosyl‐v‐triazoles has been accomplished by the 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of several glycosyl azides to methyl propiolate and propiolic acid. In most of the cases the two isomeric v‐triazoles were obtained. Structural and anomeric configuration assignments for the N‐glycosides obtained were made on the basis of NMR data. None of the compounds possessed appreciable biological activity against HeLa cells in culture and mouse Sarcoma 180.

7‐Amino‐1H,4H‐imidazo[2,3‐c][1,2,6]thiadiazine 5,5‐dioxide was prepared by a multi‐step reaction sequence form 3,5‐diamino‐4H‐1,2,6‐thiadiazine 1,1‐dioxide. 7‐Amino‐4H‐furazano‐[3,4‐c][1,2,6]thiadiazine 5,5‐dioxide was obtained by lead tetraacetate oxidation of 3,5‐diamino‐4‐hydroxyimino‐4H‐1,2,6‐thiadiazine 1,1‐dioxide.

A number of C‐glycosylindazoles were prepared by 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddilion of several α‐diazoketoses to benzyne. When the cycloaddition reaction was carried out with benzyne derivatives the two possible isomeric indazoles were obtained in most of the cases. Structural assignments were made on the basis of nmr data.
