Finder in Berlin.Ill.Operative Eingriffe an den Tonsillen.Die Schlitzung der Lakunen in der Oaum entonsille wird vorgenommen bei chronischer Tonsillitis, um die Taschen, in denen sich die käsigen Pfröpfe festsetzen, ¡n mehr offene Buchten umzuwandeln, in denen das Sekret nicht so leicht stagnieren und sich zersetzen kann. Man bedient sich zu diesem Zweck eines Schielhakens oder eines kleinen, hakenförmigen,an einem langen Griff befestigten Messerchens. Nach vorheriger Kokainisierung geht man damit in eine zerklüftete Lakune ein, in der sich das zu Piröpfen eingedickte, ft übel riechende und schmeckende Sekret angesammelt hat, ùnd reißt von oben nach unten die Brücke von Tonsillargewebe zur nächsten Lakune durch; große Gewalt hat man dabei nicht anzuwenden, da das Gewebe sehr leicht zerreißlich zu sein -pflegt. Nachdem-man so in einer oder mehreren Sitzungen -je nach der Toleranz des Patienten -alle chronisch entzündeten Lakunen geschlitzt hat, kann iian sie noch mit Protargol-oder Jodjodkalilösung auspinseln.
