Remote metastases were revealed in 178 (60%) op 295 observed patients with lung cancer. The dependence of rate and localization of remote metastases on form histologic structure and sizes of the mitial focus of lung cancer is presented. In 133 (45%) patients, remote metastases are revealed in initial examination suggesting the low-symptom or symptomless course of lung cancer and remote metastases. The data suggested will provide timely diagnosis and will have prognostic importance.
The results of radiotherapy of esophagus cancer in 127 patients are analyzed. It is noted that the life duration of patients depends on the incidence and localization of tumor process. The five-year survival of patients with esophagus cancer localized in the cervical and superthoracal parts of esophagus was 0. in the middle thoracal part was 3,2%, in the lower thoracal part was 11%, in all localizations was 4,7%. The immediate favourable result of radiotherapy was noted in 77% of the patients with esophagus cancer.
The results of the radiation therapy of the nonmicrocystic lung cancer in 26 patients are analyzed. It is noted that the life duration of patients with regard to the initial somatic state depends on the process spreading, tumor histologic state and radiation therapy type. The 5-year survival of patients with the first and second stage of the nonmicrocystic lung cancer receiving the radiation therapy according to the radial program.
