Natriumnitrat und Natriumnitrit.Der eine von uns hat vor mehreren Jahren nachgewiesen, dais einige organische Ni troverbindungen mit den entsprechendenNitrosoderivaten feste Losungen bilden.' Dieser Befund wurde etwas spater von JAGER bestatigt;2 dieser Forscher fand niimlich, dak zwei der obenerwahnten Verbindungen, p-Nitro-und p-Nitroso-dimethylamin auch krystallographisch isomorph sind. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wurde die Vermutung ausgesprochen , dak diese Fahigkeit , Mischkrystalle zu liefern, sich auch zwischen anorganischen Salpeter-und salpetrigsauren Salzen wiederfinden sollte.Die vorliegende Untersuchung wurde nun unternommen, urn die Richtigkeit dieser Vermutung zu prufen.

J nter dem in der Ueberschrift wiedergegebenen Titel veraffentlichte ich vor sechs Monaten, zusammen mit Herrn Dr. F o r n a r a , eine Abhandlung I), in welcher die Nichtanwesenheit der Cu"-, bezw. Ni"-Ioneii in den entsprechenden Salzen der a -Aminofettsauren gezeigt wurde.Dass das Metallatom nicht oder nur spureoweise als einfaches Kation, sondern in einem Koiiiplexe analog den komplexen Ammoniakverbindungen auftritt , wurde von uns hauptsichlich aus zwei Tatsachen abgeleitet, und zwar: erstens aus der Farbe der wisserigen Ldsungen , wclche tiefblauviolett, bezw. hellblau und identisch derjenigcn der entsprcchenden Kupfer -und Nickclammoniakverbindungen ist und sich aucli durch Zusatz von Ammoniak liauni andert; zweitens aus dem Ausbleiben der meisten charaktcristischen Reaktionen der echtcn Metallsalze. N u r in ganz untcrgeordneter Wcisc fahrtcn wir die Resultate der kryosliopischen Messungen an, aus wclchcn sich crgibt, dass die untersuchten Stoffe in wrssriger Ldsung kaum dissociiert sind ; die letztere 'Tatsachc schicn uns als Beweis weniger bindend, da sie cbenso gut auf die geringe Starke der Basen und insbesondere der Sauren, welche bei der Bildung der Salze teilnehinen , zurackgefahrt werdcn kdnntc, um so mehr, als bci der gcringen 1-6s-lichkeit derselbcn die kryoskopische Methode. keine schr grossc Empfindlichkeit besitzt.
