zum Spiroketon (3) (Fp = 252--254 'C; 75 y.;) eingeht. Die Einwirkung von Sauren auf das Carbinol ( 4 ) (Fp = 247 bis 248 OC; aus (3) und LiAIH4) liefert einen farblosen Kohlenwasserstoff C~~H Z J (5). (Fp = 289-390OC; 75 :{), der nur aromatische Protonen und nur o-disubstituierte Benzolkerne enthalt (NMR-bzw. IR-Spektrum) und nicht rnit Hexabenzo-heptafulvalen (Fp 401 -403 " C ) identisch ist. Letzteres konnte aus Tribenzotropondichlorid und Phenyllithium [2] und auch rnit Kupferpulver in Benzol dargestellt werden. Somit ist ( 5 ) ein Hexabenzooctalen. wornit auch sein UV-Spektrum (Amax = 233 mp; log E = 4,97 in Dioxan) in Einklang ist. Die Ahnlichkeit der UV-Spektren von ( 5 ) und Tetraphenylen bzw. Dibenzocyclooctatetraen zeigt, daB Hexabenzooctalen sicher nicht planar ist und man daher grundsatzlich mit zwei Stereoisomeren zu rechnen hat. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, daB eine Ringerweiterung uber ( I ) + ( 3 ) , die entspr. bei kleineren Ringen [3] bereits vorher gelang, auch glatt vom Sieben-zum Achtring fuhrt.
Aralkylborane und Ar-cycloalkylborane wandeln sich beim Erhitzen in Bor-Heterocyclen (1-Boraindane, 1-Boratetraline, tricyclische Borane) mit BCaryl-Bindung um. Im Gegensatz zur Pyrolyse von Trialkylboranen spielt hier nicht nur die Reaktion einer durch Dehydroborierung (Abspaltung von Alken) gebildeten BH-Gruppe mit einem sterisch gunstig gelagerten Caryl-H, sondern auch die unmittelbare Abspaltung von Aralkan, Arcycloalkan bzw. Alkan eine Rolle. Auch der RingschluR von Biphenylyl-(2)-boranen zu 9-Borafluorenen wird bescbrieben.Bei der Vakuumdestillation von Tris-[2-phenyl-propyI]-boran (1) wurde erstmals beobachtets), da13 sich aul3er a-Methylstyrol in erheblichen Mengen Wasserstoff abspaltet. Im Gegensatz zum Verhalten der Trialkylborane, bei denen in der Hitze infolge Abspaltung von Alken zunachst Alkyldiboranes>@ entstehen, lieBen sich Aralkylborhydride beim Erhitzen von Aralkylboranen nicht nachweisen. Borhydride reagieren demnach wesentlich leichter mit den CH-Gruppen der Arylgruppen von R' Aralkylboranen als mit den aliphatischen CH-Bindungen der Alkylborane. Aus 1 entsteht bei 180-200" bei 10-1 bis 10-3 Torr I-[2-Phenyl-propyl]-3-methyl-l-boraindan (2) in hoher Ausbeute7-9). Die BCary1-Bindung der farblosen, luftempfindlichen Verbindung 2 1LRt sich z.B. durch Reaktion mit Quecksilber(lI)-chloridlo) nachweisen. Im IR-Spektrum von 2 (vgl. Abb. 1) ist neben der Monosubstitution am Aromaten (750, 700 cm-1) auch die ortho-Disubstitution im Bereich von 750 cm-1 zu erkennen, die von den ycH-Schwingungen der vier benachbarten Wasserstoffatome am Arylkern herruhrt.
Alkalimetall-alkyl-l -alkinyl-boranatez) M[Rq-,B(C=CR'),] (R' = H, Alkyl, C = C -C C~H~; 1: x = 1 ; 5 : x = 2; 6 : x = 3) werden aus Alkalimetall-I-alkinen und Organoboranen R3B bzw. RXB(C-CR')3-,N(CH3)3 (x = 1, 2) dargestellt. Entsprechend reagieren auch Bor-Heterocyclen mit I -Propinyl-natriuni und -kalium, z. B. Perhydro-9 b-boraphenalene zu 2. Aus khinyl-natrium und Triathylboran erhalt man kein einheitliches Salz; rnit Chlordiathylboran bilden sich daraus Alkenylborane 4. Natriumtrialkyl-1 -alkinyl-boranate (1 b), Dinatrium-hexaalkylathinylen-bis-boranate Naz[R3BC=CBR3] (3b) und Dinatrium-hexaalkylalka-o:.w-diinylen-bis-boranate Na2[R3BC= C(CH&,C=CBR3] (8 b: y = 0 oder 4) gewinnt man in hoher Reinheit auch aus Natrium-trialkylboranaten (7 b) rnit 1-Alkinen, Acetylen oder a.w-Diinen. -Einige Reaktionen von 1 und 7 werden beschrieben. Die Natrium-Verbindungen des Cyclopentadiens, lndens und Fluorens konnen mit Hilfe von 7 b leicht gewonnen werden. Alkalimetall-trialkyl-1-alkinyl-boranate2) M1[R3BC-CR'] (1) sind zur Synthese von substituierten Alkenen3) und Alkenylmetall-Verbindungen geeignet. Mit Hilfe von 1 lassen sich z. B. auch vicinale cis-Bis-dialkylboryl-alkene3) darstellen, aus denen die Carboran-ahnlich stabilisierten Tetracarba-hexaborane (6)4,5) erhalten werden konnen. Wir haben uns daher rnit der Darstellung von 1 beschaftigt. AuBerdem wurden Alkalimetall-trialkyl-boranate M[R3BH] (7) (vgl. s. 27) untersucht, die sehr gut zur Darstellung von 1 zu verwenden sind. Von den Boranaten 1, iiber deren Darstellung wir kurz berichtet haben3), war nur das Lithium-triphenyl-phenylathinyl-boranat bekannt61. Von den Erdalkalimetallsalzen MJ1[R3BX]2 sind Magnesium-tributyl-phenyl-boranat ''0 und Magnesium-, Calcium-, Strontium-und Bariumbis-tetra-athylboranate dargestellt worden 'I"'). Auch mit Bor-Heterocyclen konnten Komplexsalze rnit X = OR und Spiroboranate mit 4 BC-Bindungen crhalten werden IlO).
