The yields of 28 mass chains have been measured for fission of 3 U and~S U induced by neutrons at four different energies from 6.0 to 9.1 MeV. This is the first experimental measurement where sufficient energy resolution was obtained to observe the effect of the onset of second chance fission in the case of symmetric fission. The Ag and i pd results are compared with measurements at other neutron energies and with previous theoretical predictions. All nuclide results are presented in tabular form, as a function of neutron energy. The mass chains measured range from 84 to 156. NUCLEAR REACTIONS, FISSION~U(n, f) and 3~U(n, f), E=6. 0, 7.1, 8.1,9.]. MeV; measured yields of 28 mass chains.
The D(p, 2p)n reaction has been studied at E"=30.3 MeV at kinematic conditions where either final-state interactions or quasifree scattering predominate, and at kinematic conditions where the kinematic domains of these two processes are near each other. Data were obtained at 25' -91', 30' -80', 37. 5' -68', 25 -25', 30' -30', 42. 5' -42.5', 24'-60', 30'-56', 35'-43', 37'-47', 63'-30', 55 -40', and 49. 5' -49.5 . The results are compared with predictions of the Amado model and, in general, there is good agreement between the model and the data.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
