Flow curves of W/O emulsions for the liquid surfactant membrane process were studied. As the oil phase, kerosene, toluene and a mixture of kerosene and liquid paraffin were used. Span 80 was used as the surfactant. The flow curve was measured with a capillary viscometer and a cone plate rheometer. The W/O emulsions showed the Ostwald flow curve. The effect of volume fraction
