Managing letters related to residence in Babau Village usually takes a long time. Residents must meet directly with the head of the RT/RW in the domicile area to obtain a cover letter, then they can go to the Kelurahan office to arrange the intended documents. The problem that then arises is if the community cannot meet the RT/RW leader because of busy life. Likewise if it arrives at the Kelurahan office, it turns out that the Lurah is not there. This will certainly hinder the management process. In addition to the above problems, another problem that can also arise is the RT/RW cover letter that has the potential to be falsified.These problems can be solved by building a Digital Village platform where the community does not need to meet directly with the RT/RW but can use the existing platform to manage the required documents. The proposal letter that goes to RT/RW can be directly approved and forwarded to the Village Head to be approved and ready to be printed. Everything is done without the need for paperless paperwork.
XYZ Elementary School has problems in data collection of school inventory items, namely the recording process is still recorded in a logbook so that the number of items available is not updated in real-time if there are items borrowed, items repaired, or damaged goods. Also, the responsible officer must surround each room one by one to check and record goods resulting in a waste of time for data collection and inefficient. To solve the problems experienced by the school, a computerized application was engineered to process the data collection of inventory items to make it easier for officers to collect data so that performance would be more effective and efficient. The system development method used is the prototype method which consists of several stages, namely collecting information from customers, planning the system, and working on software prototypes, submitting prototype results to customers to be evaluated if there are problems, then the system will be revised so that it fits the needs. customer, if the revision is complete and has been accepted, the software is ready to be translated into hardware, performs a trial process, and various revisions before starting to be used. The application to be engineered is a web-based application using the PHP programming language version 7 which is combined with the Laravel version 5 framework, and the database uses MySQL, and the testing of this application uses black-box testing techniques. It is hoped that this application can facilitate the work of the person in charge of facilities and infrastructure in providing accurate and updated information regarding the availability of facilities and infrastructure at the school.
Bus merupakan alat transportasi yang paling banyak digunakan masyarakat karena harga yang murah dan masih terjangkau untuk masyarakat kalangan ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Umumnya pemesanan tiket bus dilakukan dengan mendatangi langsung tempat penjualan tiket bus atau dengan cara menelepon ke kantor agen. Proses pemesanan seperti ini memiliki kekurangan dimana pegawai kerepotan dalam mencatat dan seringkali terjadi kesalahan dalam mencatat pemesanan tiket. Sedangkan untuk waktu pemesanan, umumnya calon penumpang melakukan pemesanan tiket, satu atau dua hari sebelum keberangkatan dan ada juga yang tidak sempat memesan tiket beberapa hari sebelumnya dan melakukan pembelian tiket pada hari keberangkatan sehingga sering kali tidak mendapatkan tiket. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang bangun sistem pemesanan tiket bus berbasis SMS Gateway yang memberikan kemudahan layanan pemesanan tiket bus bagi masyarakat secara jarak jauh serta kemudahan mengetahui informasi penjadwalan bus dengan cepat. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan metode Unified Process, dengan bahasa pemrograman Java NetBeansIDE 7.3.1, MySQL sebagai database dan Gammu sebagai software untuk membantu pembangunan aplikasi SMS Gateway. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pemesanan tiket bus yang memberikan alternatif baru proses pemesanan tiket bus secara baik tanpa ada permasalahan jarak dan waktu. Selain itu masyarakat juga dapat mengetahui informasi jadwal bus, harga tiket dan juga informasi bila terjadi perubahan jadwal keberangkatan bus. Kata kunci— Bus, Tiket, SMS Gateway, Unified Process
East Nusa Tenggara, especially Oemasi village has rich natural potential so that the people of Oemasi village can produce various kinds of high-quality local crafts and have high selling points. The craft that is produced is usually in the form of woven cloth, scarf, ukulele, and others. The problem experienced by the Oemasi village community in selling crafts is the limited promotional media with conventional methods and the method of selling local crafts via social media also has shortcomings that are stock items that still have to be updated manually and sales history that is still recorded manually. This research aims to engineer the application of local craft sales in East Nusa Tenggara based on android which can be used as an alternative to assist the people of Oemasi village in selling local crafts in East Nusa Tenggara so that sales problems with conventional methods or through social media can be resolved. The software development model used in this research is the Waterfall model. Kerajinan yang dihasilkan biasanya berupa kain tenun, selendang, ukulele dan lain-lain. Permasalahan yang dialami masyarakat desa Oemasi dalam menjual kerajinan adalah terbatasnya media promosi dengan metode konvensional dan metode penjualan kerajinan lokal via media sosial juga memiliki kekurangan yaitu stok barang yang masih harus diupdate secara manual dan history penjualan yang masih dicatat secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekayasa aplikasi penjualan kerajinan masyarakat NTT berbasis android yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk membantu masyarakat desa Oemasi dalam melakukan penjualan kerajinan lokal masyarakat NTT sehingga permasalahan penjualan dengan metode konvensional atau melalui media sosial dapat diatasi.
