der Abte]lung.Mit 6 Textabbfldungen.Den Gedanken, dab bei den ohne nachweisbare Ursache beginnenden ,,idiopathischen" oder ,,prim~r-infekti6sen" Polyneuritiden der ProzeB eigentlieh proximal, d. h. in dem Wurzelnerven beginnt und dab es sich somit um eine Polyradiculitis handelt, hat zuerst Margulis (1927) ausgesprochen; yore Wurzclnerv ausgehcnd breitet sich die Affcktion sp/~ter in zentrMer und pcripherer Richtung, auf das Riickenmark und auf die peripheren Nerven, aus. Nach dieser Mitteilung wurde die Fragc der Wurzelnervaffektion in dicsen Fs best~ndig geprfift, die Zahl der cinschl~gigen Beobachtungen vermehrte sich, so daB nach klinischen und aueh nach anatomischcn Gesichtspunkten mehrere Polyradiculitistypen abgegrenzt werden konnten. Die eine gut umschriebenc Form wurde yon P e t t e -K 6 r n ye y klinisch Ms akut-mMigne L an d r ysche L/ihmung und histologisch als polyganglioradiku]/~rc L~sion beschrieben; sp/~tere Bcobachtungen (Demme, G~rtner, Holl/~nder-Karolini, Juba, Juba-Szatms Pavljutschenko, Peters-Scheid) haben die Befunde der obigen Autorcn best~tigt und auch gezeigt, daB die periloheren Nerven am Prozel~ sieh ebcnfalls in schwerer Form beteiligen k6nncn. Im Gegensatz zu diesen akut abklingenden Formen sah man andersmal cinen bedeutend langsameren Verlauf, so dab das letale Ende erst nach langen Woehcn oder nach mehrercn Monaten eintrat. (Bcnedek-Juba, Margulis, Dech~umc, Marineseo-Draga, neseo.) Bemcrkenswerterweise war die Ascensionstendenz der Ausfallscrscheinungen auch bier nicht selten erkennbar, so dab zum zuerst erw/~hnten Typ bercits klinisch ein gewisser Ubergang besteht.
