Eine personenbezogene und ins eigene Leben integrierte Erklärung des Krankheitsgeschehens ist aus Sicht von verschiedenen Experten notwendig, um sich auf die jeweils individuell mögliche Art und Weise damit auseinanderzusetzen und neuen Krisen vorzubeugen. Der Autor beschreibt seine Sicht vor seinem biografischen Hintergrund und zeigt auf, wie er seine Balance gefunden hat und immer wieder findet. Dieser subjektive Beitrag betrachtet mei ne Lebensphasen. Die Phase vor meiner psychiatrischen Karriere bezeichne ich als "Normalphase", die "Schockphase" schließt sich an. Hier erfuhr ich alle negativen Aus wirkungen der stigmatisierenden Diagnose "Schizophrenie". Verlust von Arbeit, Fami lie, sozialer Stellung und die Konsequenz mehrmaliger Einweisung in die stationäre Psychiatrie. Am Ende der Schockphase er kannte ich die umfassende Bedeutung der pathologischen Diagnose und glitt selbst verständlich in die "Resignationsphase". Aus dieser Phase konnte ich nur durch das Bewusstwerden der "ausweglosen" Situa tion gelangen. Gezielt arbeitete ich an der "Gesundungsphase", die mir qualitative und quantitative Lebensqualität brachte. "Schuster, bleib bei deinen Leisten" Die ersten 20 Jahre meines Lebens ver brachte ich auf dem Land. Die Basis dieser Zeit war das Entwickeln von Ressourcen zum Überleben in einer ehrlichen Natur ohne menschlich und künstlich gesteuer te Eingriffe. Diese fundamentale Phase des Lebens brachte mir die Fähigkeit, Lebens prüfungen zu bestehen. Schule, Familie, Berufsausbildung und das soziale Umfeld vereinnahmte mich immer mehr als Teil der Gesellschaft. Ich erwarb und trainierte mir Routinen an, die in meinem komple xen Leben später von wesentlicher Be deutung wurden. Das Zusammenspiel von beruflichem, privaten und Freizeitstress prägte mein Leben -das Leben wurde ein Spiel. Schule, Familie, Beruf und Freizeit waren eine Einheit, hatten Lebensfreude bereitet und verursachten keine großen Anstrengungen. Das Kompensieren von Stress durch Sport oder natürliche und künstliche Drogen war mir in dieser Phase unbekannt. Diese Lebensphase schloss ich unbe wusst ab, indem ich mit dem Studium anfing und meinen Wohnsitz vom Land in die Großstadt verlagerte. Ich konzentrierte mich ausschließlich auf Familie und Beruf und vervollständigte meine Ausbildung durch zwei akademische Abschlüsse. Vom familiären Studium als Maschinenbau er war ich so be geistert, dass ich ein zweites, wirt schafts und sozi alwissenschaftli ches Studium an schloss. Sehr naiv absolvierte ich in ähnlichem natur wissenschaftlichen Stil das Grundstu dium. Nach vier Semestern muss te ich den naiven, ehrlichen Stil wechseln und verstand erst so langsam, dass in der Wirtschaft "der Apfel nicht unbedingt zum Boden fallen muss". Mit dieser Erkenntnis absolvierte ich das eigentlich vier Semester dauernde Hauptstudium in drei Semestern. Die Urkunde des akademischen Ab schlusses noch nicht in der Hand, unter schrieb ich bei einem amerikanischen Konzern freudestrahlend einen finanziell lukrativen Arbeitsvertrag.
