Pelaksanaan program GLS di SDK St. Yosefa Labuan Bajo mengalami kendala karena sekolah tidak memiliki persediaan buku yang memadai. Selain itu, tidak semua guru memiliki konsep tepat mengenai literasi membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) mendeskripsikan upaya sekolah mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan GLS di tengah minimnya persediaan buku; (2) mendeskripsikan upaya sekolah menjadikan guru sebagai model/figur teladan literasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskripstif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Sumber data dalam penelitian yakni kepala sekolah, perwakilan dari guru, dan petugas perpustakaan. Adapun teknik analisis data mengikuti pola yang dipopulerkan Miles dan Hubermen, yang terdiri dari reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display) serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi (conclusion drawing/ verification). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa begitu banyak upaya yang telah dilakukan sekolah baik terkait upaya sekolah mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan GLS di tengah minimnya buku nonteks, maupun upaya sekolah dalam menyadari guru akan pentingnya penerapan GLS. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan telah membuahkan hasil positif. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh meningkatnya pengunjung perpustakaan setiap hari, papan mading dan pojok baca selalu ramai dikunjungi siswa, dan guru selalu berkesempatan mengecek dan membimbing anak-anak sesuai jadwal. Upaya yang dilakukan telah membentuk pola kebiasaan pada peserta didik yang terjadi secara konsisten tanpa paksaan guru. Dengan kata lain, kebiasaan membaca telah terbentuk dan pola ini berlangsung sampai sekarang.
The aim of this study is to analyze the readiness of parents to assisted elementary school-aged children in distance learning in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Sample in this research were 120 parents of students who were randomly selected from 10 primary schools in the Langke Rembong district of Manggarai Regency. Data were collected by online surveys and by telephone calls. The results showed that the majority of parents were not ready to accompany their children to learn from home. This unpreparedness is caused by the difficulty of parents dividing time at home, the lack of direction received from the teacher, parents do not understand the child's subject matter, and parental ignorance of technology causes parents to tend not to be involved in children's learning activities and then hand over the responsibility to other adult family members.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa sekolah dasar berkaitan dengan materi pembelajaran menghitung dan membaca di SDI Kenda. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan tambahan jam pelajaran bagi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan rendah terkait menghitung dan membaca. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan (Action Research). Tindakan tersebut dilakukan secara berulang-ulang dan setiap tindakan diawali dengan perencanaan, pemberian treatmen (tindakan), observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemberian tambahan jam pelajaran bagi siswa yang berkesulitan membaca dan menghitung dapat dikatakan efektif. Hal ini terbukti pada nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada setiap pertemuan, yakni adanya peningkatan dari pemberian treatmen I, II, dan III

Manggarai fairy tales were chosen with the aim of introducing various local wisdoms contained in these tales. this activity aims to; 1) introducing various local wisdoms in the Manggarai area to children of primary school age; 2) growing love for various local wisdoms in the Manggarai area; 3) grow and develop children's mental and ability to speak in frontother friends.in its implementation, this activity goes through several stages namely; 1) preparation stage which includes coordination of the service team, contacting partners, determining the schedule of activities, and procuring Manggarai folklore books; 2) the stage of implementation of activities which includes mentoring and training fordevelop the ability of children SEKAMI in knowing tales and storytelling.this activity aims to improve the ability of children SEKAMI in knowing more stories and good ways of storytelling; 3) the final stage includes storytelling and evaluation activities related to the effectiveness of service activities. this activity went well and the objectives of the activity were achieved.
Bimbingan Belajar Membaca bagi Siswa Usia Sekolah Dasar di Desa Golo Langkok, Rahong Utara, Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur. “Dengan membaca buku, engkau bisa menjelajahi dunia tanpa harus meninggalkan kursimu”. Pepatah itu disampaikan Plummer terkait betapa pentingnya membaca. Kemampuan membaca tentu menjadi tuntutan utama bagi semua orang. Dengan membaca, seseorang dapat mengetahui banyak hal seperti sejarah, berita, dan informasi. Membaca menjadi salah satu kompetensi dasar yang dipelajari sejak sekolah dasar. Para siswa wajib belajar membaca sejak duduk di bangku sekolah dasar. Akan tetapi, apa jadinya jika masih terdapat siswa sekolah dasar yang belum bisa membaca? Deskripsi itu tergambar pada diri siswa di desa Golo Langkok. Pada observasi awal ditemukan bahwa 17 siswa sekolah dasar belum mampu membaca. Temuan tersebut dianggap sebagai sebuah masalah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, solusi yang telah dilakukan adalah bimbingan belajar membaca bagi siswa usia sekolah dasar di Desa Golo Langkok, Kecamatan Rahong Utara. Siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca itu membutuhkan bimbingan belajar membaca secara intensif. Adapun metode kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, yakni (1) menganalisis situasi, (2) mendiagnosa masalah, (3) mengategorikan siswa berdasarkan kemampuan, dan (4) melakukan kegiatan bimbingan belajar membaca. Setelah kegiatan bimbingan belajar membaca, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan membaca siswa SD di Desa Golo Langkok meningkat.
Research on the dating behavior of teens at boarding houses in Ruteng City consists of two parts - research on high school teenagers and college’s students teenagers. This report focuses on the results of research to students living at boarding houses. This study was designed to describe the dating behavior of teenage boarders in the Ruteng, Manggarai Regency. Sexual dating behavior that drives this research is about emerging forms of thinking about sexual drive for couples. Various forms, such as holding hands, hugging, kissing, touching sensitive body parts, and sexual intercourses. Based on this concept, dating behavior is grouped into 4 activities, dating, necking, petting, and intercourses. Getting data, the team used survey by quantitative approach. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Questions related to student dating behaviors. Questionnaire was supported by interview and observation. The total participants were 320 students who were dating in Ruteng. From the total and 95% confidence level, the team determined margin of error totally 5.3%. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and non-parametric statistics. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the condition of participants in terms of age, circumstances, and semester level. Non-parametric statistics were used to assess the significance of the relationship between age, circumstances, and semester variables for dating safety. Some of them have even been prominent in sexual relations. These facts were caused by unregulated environments. In Ruteng, the boarding houses do not have a construction permit because they do not have local regulations from the Manggarai regency government. This confirms the owner's mentality that is oriented to money and ignore the rules, do not limit male and female relations of boarders, and the desire of teenagers to make boarding as a safe dating place. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for local governments to issue local regulations.
The background of this research is the importance of character education in human life being able to shape one's personality, identity and character so as to have a balanced ability between thoughts and feelings, emotionality and intellect. realize the application of character education there are many ways that are done through education, literary works, etc. but in this case, the researcher was inspired to analyze the values of karaker education contained in a literary work in the form of a novel that is the Dreamer novel by Andrea Hirata and found the relevance of the character education values contained in the Dreamer novel withthe values of character education for the educational process in Cluster 4 Langke Rembong DistrictThis study aims to analyze the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi and find the relevance of the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi with the values of character education for the educational process in Cluster 4 DistrictLangke Rembong.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach and content analysis methods through data collection techniques in the form of text analysis, document studies and interviews.The results of the study found twelve character education values contained in the novel The Dreamer of eighteen character education while six other character values were not found by the writer in the novel Dreamer. the twelve values of character education contained in the novel The Dreamer that is in relation to God, including religious values, in relation to oneself including the values of discipline, the value of hard work, creative values, independent values, the value of curiosity, the value of responsibilityanswer, the value of respecting achievement and in relation to others includes the value of tolerance, the value of friendship / communicative, and the value of social care. in addition to analyzing the values contained in the novel The Dreamer the researcher also conducted research in the form of interviews in Cluster 4 Langke Rembong District. The sources of interview data are the principal, grade 5 teachers and grade V. studentsbased on the analysis of the values of character education contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi, with the values of character education applied in Cluster 4, Langke Rembong District. shows relevance.
Application of Scientific Approach in Primary Schools. The rationale for this research is the discovery of problems related to the low ability of students to present report texts based on observations. based on these problems offered a solution that is the use of a scientific approach, which approach has a characteristic that is a series of processes or stages in learning that must be passed by students. the use of this approach is considered effective to provide solutions to the problems encountered. This approach was chosen because of the recommendations of previous studies. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the use of scientific approaches in elementary schools. this type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The results showed that the use of a scientific approach in learning can be said to be effective. This can be seen in students' progress in preparing reports based on observations. in addition, students follow well the stages of the scientific approach in learning.
