The peripheral gallo-roman rural settlement at Béziers (Bédée, Ille-et- Vilaine) has been partially studied. This study has demonstrated the existence of an entrance, fencing-ditches and a part of a plot of land. Within the enclosure three buildings of varying size and architecture were discovered. Thèse were associated with internai partition ditches. Surprisingly, for a rural context, a large number of artefacts was found. Despite the long, narrow form of the expropriared land, which was under our investigation, it was still possible to retrieve a lot of information.
