Describes arthropod remains from black shales interbedded with gypsum on the north slope of the Dent du Villard, Vanoise region, France. The faunal evidence indicates an upper Triassic age for the enclosing beds, confirming previous conclusions based on a rich Equisetum flora. In addition to the new insect species Osmylopsychops radialis, belonging to the family Prohemerobiidae, the estherian Euestheria minuta brodiei is described.
