Auteurs : Anne-Violette Bruyneel (a), François Bridon (b) (a) Kinésithérapeute, Docteur en Sciences du Mouvement Humain, Résumé Objectif : Etudier la comparaison de la reproductibilité intra et inter-évaluateurs d'un inclinomètre sur smartphone par rapport à l'inclinomètre bi-level au niveau de l'extension du genou. Méthode : 41 étudiants en kinésithérapie ont participé à la campagne expérimentale. L'extension du genou a été testée par 2 évaluateurs et 2 outils (inclinomètres smartphone vs. inclinomètre manuel bilevel) pendant 2 jours successifs. Pour comparer les résultats obtenus par les 2 outils, nous avons utilisé le test U de Mann Whitney. Une valeur de p< 0.05 était considérée comme significative. La reproductibilité intra et inter-évaluateurs a été testée grâce au coefficient de corrélation intra-classes (ICC), puis par l'erreur standard de mesure (ESM) et enfin le changement minimal détectable (CMD). Résultats : Aucune différence significative n'a été observée entre les outils. La reproductibilité intraévaluateur est légèrement supérieure pour l'inclinomètre manuel (ICC>0.76) par rapport au smartphone (ICC>0.72), avec une ESM proche de 2° et une valeur minimale de CMD de 4°. La reproductibilité interévaluateurs est similaire quel que soit l'outil (ICC > 0.65), mais, le smartphone à un CMD à 5° et l'inclinomètre Bi-Level de 5° à 8° selon les jours.
Discussion -conclusion:Les résultats mettent en évidence des valeurs de reproductibilité intraévaluateur et inter-évaluateurs proches entre les outils. Dès lors, l'application inclinométrique sur smartphone semble constituer une bonne alternative à l'inclinomètre manuel pour quantifier l'extension du genou.

AbstractObjectives: To compare intra-and inter-rater reproducibility of knee extension motion assessment between a smartphone inclinometer and a hand-held bi-level inclinometer.Methods: 41 physiotherapy students were included.
