RESUMENAntecedentes El rechazo agudo del injerto es una complicación importante en pacientes sometidos a trasplante renal. El presente estudio busca comparar el porcentaje de rechazo agudo del injerto en el primer año del trasplante renal al haber recibido daclizumab o basiliximab como inductor de inmunosupresión. Resultados La presencia de rechazo agudo del injerto se presentó con mayor frecuencia en el grupo que recibió basiliximab comparado con el de daclizumab. Discusión La proporción de rechazo agudo del injerto renal durante el primer año del trasplante en el Hospital Calderón Guardia presentó diferencias entre los pacientes tratados con daclizumab y los tratados con basiliximab. En este último grupo hubo más rechazo.
