Resultados: De una muestra total de 121 pacientes se descartó SCA en 10.5%. De los 57 pacientes restantes, se detectó una prevalencia de sospecha y diagnóstico clínico de SCA en la UMF número 78 de 89.5%; todos ellos presentaron cuadro clínico de dolor torácico y cambios electrocardiográficos. Conclusiones: La prevalencia de sospecha y diagnóstico de SCA en la UMF número 78 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, es de 89.5%; todos ellos mostraron cuadro clínico de dolor torácico y cambios electrocardiográficos. Estos hallazgos muestran la importancia de priorizar la prevención tratando de bajar el riesgo cardiovascular al disminuir los factores de riesgo modificables y controlar de manera adecuada las patologías existentes, además de mejorar los procesos de identificación clínica, diagnóstico electrocardiográfico, tratamiento en primer nivel de atención y envío oportuno a segundo o tercer nivel.
