Introduction: Schizophrenia is a complex clinical syndrome that may present with a great variety of psychopathologic manifestations, covering changes in thought, perception and emotions, as well as motricity and behavioral abnormalities. It symptoms can be divided in positive and negative. Many others psychiatric disturbances share schizophrenia symptoms, among then, Schizoaffective Disorder, with altered mood, as in depression or mania. Although there is, in literature, plenty of evidence about the impact of depressive symptoms in the quality of life in schizophrenic patients, we were unable to identify Brazilian prospects on the subject. Surpassing the findings of other studies, depression in schizophrenic patients has considerable impacts, in addition to its prevalence and frequent underdiagnosis. Objectives: Report a case of patient with Schizoafective Schizophrenia and Depression, treated in the Psycosocial Care Center (CAPES) III in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, Brazil. Materials and Methods: Case study, with an descriptive transversal approach, realized under the rules of Resolution 466/12, from National Health Council /National Health Ministry regarding legal and ethical aspects about studies with human beings. The study was registered in the Plataform Brasil, and subsequently forwarded for consideration in the Research Ethics Committee, then being approved.
Através da inserção no cenário de prática da residência em Saúde da Família e comunidade multiprofissional, proporcionada por instituição pública estadual, este trabalho descreve a experiência de acompanhar o caso de uma família do interior cearense composta por oito membros, com idades entre 14 e 63 anos, com história de infecção e recidiva pelo Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. O presente relato trouxe à luz questionamentos acerca das causas da resistência e disseminação desse patógeno, bem como sobre os determinantes sociais em saúde de pacientes com tuberculose. A necessária reflexão e criação de estratégias de combate a essa doença deve partir dos profissionais, gestores e comunidade, no sentido de proporcionar condições para a prevenção, promoção e recuperação de pacientes no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde.
UTI) o estresse, reação biológica que os indivíduos podem apresentar na iminência de uma situação considerada perigosa ou ameaçadora a vida, é um dos principais problemas que atingem o profissional da Enfermagem. Assim, se objetivou analisar os principais estímulos estressores relacionados a assistência de Enfermagem à pacientes críticos com COVID-19. Para isso foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura, de cunho descritivo e perspectiva qualitativa nas bases de dados LILACS, SCIELO, BDENF, MEDLINE. No desenvolvimento da pergunta norteadora, foi disposto o método da Estratégia PICO. Para delimitar os achados, foram utilizados trabalhos em idioma português, espanhol e inglês, publicados entre 2020 a 2021, arquivos originais completos disponíveis para acesso na íntegra on-line. Foram excluídas da amostra artigos de revisão, monografias, editoriais, cartas ao editor e os que não se encaixarem nos critérios de inclusão. 14 artigos compuseram a amostra final. As pesquisas apontaram como estímulos estressores falta de capacitação profissional, medo de infectar parentes, falta de EPIs, sobrecarga de trabalho, idade, tipo de vínculo, troca de setor, invisibilidade da prática, falta de comunicação, valorização do saber médico, ausência de prática de atividade física, gravidade dos pacientes, falta de protocolo terapêutico para a doença, entre outros. Os resultados apontaram que os estímulos estressores precedentes à atuação em UTI foram potencializados e somados a novos desafios durante a pandemia por COVID-19.
Background: This study refers to the process of investigation about the doctrinal principle of fairness of the Unified Health System (SUS), through analysis of the theoretical and legal framework and the applicability thereof, specifically in Primary Health Care (APS) level, since it helps in monitoring and referring the population to other levels. The objective of this study was to verify the checked concepts about fairness in health on the speech of professionals working in the Family health's strategy in the city of Juazeiro do Norte-CE, Brazil. Method: An analytical and cross-sectional study was conducted with a qualitative approach to obtain data that demonstrate how equity is perceived by professionals working in the Health Primary Level in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, Brazil. The sample included 18 professionals working in the direct assistance of family's health and who worked for at least six months in family health strategies. Data collection was performed by a previously structured guide with subjective questions, to assist the interview. For data analysis, we used the technique of Bardin (2009). The study followed all the provisions of the National Health Council Resolution 466/12 and Ministry of Health.
