Resumo: Objetivo: investigar a percepção dos profissionais de enfermagem da Atenção Básica em relação às atividades de Educação Permanente em Saúde. Método: estudo do tipo descritivo, exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram coletados em Unidades Básicas de Saúde, numa cidade do Rio Grande do Sul/Brasil, mediante entrevista semiestruturada, e analisados e interpretados segundo Bardin. Resultados: as atividades da Educação Permanente em Saúde são consideradas uma importante ferramenta no cotidiano de trabalho, capaz de propiciar reconhecimento e valorização profissional. Conclusão: a constante qualificação pode ser um meio capaz de tornar o sujeito crítico, reflexivo e fazer a diferença na trajetória profissional desenvolvendo competências, habilidades e atitudes que permitem uma atuação direcionada às necessidades de saúde da população, e isso possibilita a conquista da autonomia. Method: A descriptive study, with exploratory qualitative approach. Data were collected at basic health units in Rio Grande do Sul / Brazil, through semi-structured interviews, and analyzed and interpreted according to Bardin. Results: The activities of Continuing Health Education is considered an important tool in the daily work, being capable of providing recognition and professional development. Conclusion: the constant qualification may be a manner of building a critical and reflective professional and also make a difference in the professional career by developing skills, abilities and attitudes that enable targeted actions to the population's health needs, and that results in the achievement of autonomy. Objective: to identify the knowledge of nurses about the implementation the proposal of Welcoming with Risk Classificationin an urgent and emergency service. Methods: this is a study with qualitative approach of descriptive and exploratory type.Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, with the participation of seven nurses who work inthe unit mentioned. Data analysis followed the steps of thematic analysis. Results: they focus on the understanding ofparticipants about welcoming and the facilities and/or difficulties encountered by them due to the implementation of thisproposal. Conclusion: it was possible to understand the reality experienced by respondents about the theme and notice thatin spite of the difficulties, they consider that the proposal contributes to the reorganization of the users’ flow and to meettheir demands.
