Frecuencia de la depresión puerperal en la maternidad de un hospital universitario de la Región del SurFrequência da depressão puerperal na maternidade de um hospital universitário da Região Sul RESUMEN Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la frecuencia de riesgo para desencadenar la depresión posparto, en puérperas internadas en la maternidad de un Hospital Universitario, a través de la aplicación de la escala Edinburgh Post-Natal Depression Scale (EPDS).Se trata de un estudio cuantitativo, exploratorio descriptivo. Participaran del estudio 53 puérperas en posparto inmediato en el período de abril a mayo de 2009. Fue aplicado un cuestionario elaborado con base en la escala EPDS.Los datos obtenidos a través de la aplicación de la escala fueran analizados e interpretados, a través de la estadística descriptiva. Se respetaron todas las determinaciones de la Resolución 196/96 de estudio con seres humanos.Los resultados señalaron que el riesgo de depresión posparto fue encontrado en seis puérperas (11%), lo que demuestra la importancia de los profesionales de la salud en realizar la detección precoz de la depresión posparto, teniendo como ayuda la escala EPDS, por la eficacia y practicidad de su aplicación. Objetivo: Comparar os escores EuroSCORE, EuroSCORE II e InsCor na predição de mortalidade em pacientes submetidos a cirurgia cardíaca de um hospital terciário da região Sul do Brasil.Método: Estudo retrospectivo de pacientes submetidos a cirurgia de revascularização do miocárdio e/ou troca de válvula no período de Julho de 2016 a Junho de 2018.Resultados: A amostra foi composta por 127 pacientes, destes 12 (9,44%) evoluíram a óbito no pós-operatório. O EuroSCORE (p = 0,01) e o EuroSCORE II (p= 0,008) foram acurados, enquanto que o InsCor apresentou baixa acurácia em predizer mortalidade no pós-operatório (p = 0,52). O EuroSCORE II subestimou a mortalidade para pacientes classificados em baixo risco, enquanto que o InsCor mostrou tendência (p =0,07) de superestimar a mortalidade na classificação de risco alto. O EuroSCORE apresentou desempenho adequado para predição de mortalidade intra-hospitalar para todas as classificações de risco. Os pacientes que evoluíram a óbito apresentaram maior EuroSCORE [12,7 (7,8-22,1) vs 5,5 (5,8-7,9), p= 0,01] e EuroSCORE II [4,6 (3,3-8,4) vs 2,3 (2,6-3,6), p= 0,008] do que os sobreviventes, o que não ocorreu com o InsCor.Considerações Finais: Os escores EuroSCORE e EuroSCORE II foram acurados para predizer óbito pós-operatorio, enquanto o InsCor mostrou baixa acurácia. O EuroSCORE foi o que apresentou melhor desempenho para predição de mortalidade intra-hospitalar para todas as classificações de risco.
