Discute questões como alteridade e (auto)exílio ao examinar a violência que, implícita ou explicitamente, domina a rotina dos personagens.
AbstractUsing the concepts of isolation and solitude defined by philosopher Hannah Arendt in The origins of totalitarism, this work addresses the books The steps around, from portuguese writer Herberto Helder, and Good morning comrades, written by angolan Ondjaki. It discusses issues such as alterity and (self-)exile to examine the violence that implicitly or explicitly, affects the routines lived by the characters.
RESUMO:O objetivo do trabalho é associar a contenção da escrita do escritor português Carlos de Oliveira com sua preocupação em ressaltar a carência da região da Gândara. Esse local é não só aquele em que o escritor passou sua infância, mas a ambientação que encontra para falar da precariedade e do obscurantismo de um Portugal sem perspectivas, oprimido pela ditadura do Estado Novo.

This spot is not only where the writer was born, but the setting he finds for speaking of the poorness and the obscurantism of a Portugal with no perspectives, oppressed by Estado Novo´s dictatorship.
