One of the practical lecture activities at STKOM Al Ma'soem is the Java Fundamental course. This course is one of the important and compulsory subjects that must be understood by students who want to learn the object-based programming language (OOP). In the practicum of the Java Fundamental course, using two application software, namely: Alice 3.1 and Greenfoot. The learning method is by way of delivering theory by the lecturer for approximately twenty minutes, then followed by a practicum whose material and guidelines are on modules and videos downloaded from Youtube. The current lecture modules are still presented in the form of English sourced on the Oracle Academy website, this is due to the absence of references that present in the form of Indonesian. As for videos downloaded from Youtube, the contents of the material are not complete and do not have material stages at each meeting. In designing this video tutorial, the author uses multimedia development methods. Where this multimedia method consists of six stages, namely concept, design, collecting materials, assembly, testing and distribution. The final result of the design of this turial video, produces an interactive multimedia application that can be run on computer devices and Android phones. Where the description of the results is presented in a multimedia project and an application program preview. As for the development tools using usecase diagrams and storyboards. With the existence of the learning video Alice 3.1 and Greenfoot in the Java fundamental course, it is expected to be able to overcome the problems that exist in learning activities to teach lectures on practicum on Java Fundamental courses at STKOM Al Ma'soem. So that students can study the material outside of lecture hours.
One of the activities at Ma'soem University is the Registration of Final Projects for Diploma Three (D3) students and Thesis for Undergraduate students (S1). Currently, the registration process for the Final Project and Thesis is still done manually, where students must come directly to the campus to register, pay and fill out the title submission form. Meanwhile, for the preparation of seminar schedules, honoraria and final and thesis report, data processing is still using Ms. Excel. From these activities, several obstacles were found regarding information on Final Projects and Thesis, including: 1. Limited payment and registration services for Final Projects and Thesis, which can only be served on campus during working hours and days from Monday to Saturday 07.30 to 21.30 WIB. 2. Filling in the Final Project and Thesis forms manually, there is a risk of damage and loss of data. 3. Do not have a database yet, so that it is difficult to validate data on the same Final Project Title and Thesis submitted by students. 4. The process of making seminar and final project honorarium reports and thesis sessions takes a long time, and cannot be generated automatically. In this study, the system development method used is the OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method with the RUP (Rational Unified Process) model, which consists of several stages, namely: Business Modeling, Requirments, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Test, Deployment. As for the system development tools using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of: Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. With the design of the information system architecture of this Final Project and Thesis, it produces a blueprint that can: Provide payment and registration services for Final Projects and Theses that are not limited by space and time, minimize the occurrence of damage and data loss, make it easier to validate submissions for the title of Final Project the same and can facilitate the process of making seminar and final project honorarium reports and thesis reports so that they can be generated automatically.
Ma'soem University is a university located in the Al Ma'soem Foundation Bandung (YAB). At present Ma'soem University has four Faculties, namely the Faculties: Computers, Faperta, Islamic Business Economics, Teacher Training and Education. With the increasing number of new students every year around 350 people per class, the Ma'soem University finance department must have an information system design that can help and facilitate financial acceptance and report preparation so that it can be produced quickly. The finance department of Ma'soem University is currently using its manual financial management system, where every student who makes a payment is recorded on a proof of payment invoice which is then recapitulated for financial statements. Based on these considerations, it is deemed necessary to design a financial information system that is expected to help facilitate the process of payment of education costs at Ma’soem University. In this Education Fee Payment Information System Design, the writer uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) system development life cycle method, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, code, testing and implementation. The design of this information system is expected to handle the payment of tuition fees with various facilities, namely: can facilitate the search for data of students who have not paid tuition fees, can avoid duplication of data and calculation errors in education costs and is expected to present reports of tuition payment payments quickly and automatically.Ma'soem University is a university located in the Al Ma'soem Foundation Bandung (YAB). In recording population data at Puri Cendekia 1 Jatinangor Housing conducted by the Head of RT, it is still done conventionally. This raises several problems, namely: difficulties in knowing occupant / resident data information that can only be known by the head of the RT, so that many residents of the complex do not know their neighbors, recording and information services of the community in a complex environment is still limited by space and time, so that if there is a need from the community can only be done at certain hours, conventional records in the population book are at risk of damage and loss of data. In this research the system development method used is using the OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method with the RUP (Rational Unified Process) model, which consists of several stages, namely: Business Modeling, Requirements, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Test, Deployment. As for the system development tools using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of: Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. With the design of a Mobile Web-based community information system, it is expected to be able to: Make it easier in finding data on residents of housing complexes, Simplify data collection and community services without being limited by space and time, Avoiding damage and loss of data.
